Alfred University - Summer Program for Teens – Summer 2015. High school students from all over the country come to make the most of their summer vacations by participating in a week long exciting camps such as art portfolio, astronomy, robotics, computer engineering, creative writing, ceramic & glass engineering theatre, equestrian, swimming, and chemistry. Maryland Institute of Art Pre-College Studio Residency Program Pick one of two awesome experiences: June 27-July 25, 2015 – This program is in Baltimore, MD and offers rising high school juniors and seniors a college-level art experience. Students live in Baltimore exploring the galleries and museums of both New York and Washington, DC, while they enhance their portfolio and earn three college credits. June 27-July 18, 2015 – This program is the International Pre-College Residency Program in Tuscany, the Monte Amiata Region of Italy. Students live and study here while they draw and paint the landscape. Field trips to Florence and cultural venues. Students earn two college credits. For further information, visit

New Hampshire Institute of Art Pre-College Summer Program – July 5 – 17, 2015. High school students over age 16 are encouraged to apply. This program will help to develop college application portfolios while earning college credits. Students will participate in three classes in a variety of fine art and liberal art disciplines, earning up to 3 college-level elective credits. They will participate in a field trip, artists’ lectures, and motivating discussions with faculty and peers, and build their portfolios. Students will be living in the underclassmen dormitory, and meals will be served each day but Saturday evening dinner. Application reviews begin March 01. Savannah College of Art and Design – Summer Seminars – Starting June 14, 2015 – August 1, 2015. These one week seminars offer residential and non-residential workshops for high school students to explore new avenues of artistic development and expression in their Savannah and Atlanta locations. Students attend two workshops and have access to the university’s extensive facilities, resources and libraries. A closing exhibition of student work is held at the end of each session.
