R E G U L A T I O N S

The Bulgarian Wrestling Federation has the pleasure to invite you to take part in the

International wrestling tournament “Petko Sirakov – Ivan Iliev”.

I. ORGANIZATION, DATES AND VENUE OF THE COMPETITION

The International Tournament in GR, FS and WW Wrestling – Seniors U23 in the memory of Petko

Sirakov and Ivan Iliev is organized by the Bulgarian Wrestling Federation. The Tournament will

take place on 25-28.03.2021 in Burgas on 3 mats.

Address of the sport hall: 8005 Burgas, jk Slaveikov 62

In the competition are allowed to participate wrestlers born 1998-2003.

Weight-categories:

U23 FS – 57, 61, 65, 70, 74, 79, 86, 92, 97, 125 kg

U23 GR – 55, 60, 63, 67, 72, 77, 82, 87, 97, 130 kg

U23 WW – 50, 53, 55, 57, 59, 62, 65, 68, 72, 76 kg

Allowance 2 kg.

II. TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL CONDITIONS

The tournament will be conducted in conformity with the Statues and Competition Rules of the

UWW according to the annexed program.

The participant delegations have to pay 60 EUR per person per day.

The travelling expenses to Burgas and back to the relative countries are to be covered by

the participating countries.

The entries for participation should be sent to the Bulgarian Wrestling Federation before 10 of

March 2021.

III. CLASSIFICATION

The classification will be individual.

A special prizes will be awarded to the best Bulgarian and International wrestlers in

WW, FS and GR styles.

SANITARY PROTOCOL

IT “Petko Sirakov – Ivan Iliev”

Burgas, 26-28 March 2021

The sanitary protocol aims to protect health and life of all participants in the WOQ and to reduce the possibility of viral transmission to a minimum during this Event.

As a contact sport, wrestling is at higher risk of viral transmission so higher degree of attention and more stringent measures are required from the Wrestling community.

This sanitary protocol complies with the legislative measures against Covid - 19 in Bulgaria as well as with UWW Guidance for Event Organizers and Participants

1. Information about Covid -19.

• Covid-19 is a contagious viral disease transmitted by airborne droplets.

• Typical symptoms of COVID-19 include running nose, cough, fever, fatigue, breathing difficulties, loss of smell and taste;

2. How to protect ourselves from Covid -19 • Keep social distancing.

• Avoid close contact with people with symptoms of Acute Respiratory Illness.

• Compliance with the rules of personal hygiene /Washing hands frequently with soap and water either an alcohol-based gel

• A proper use of face masks

3. During WOQ and under UWW requirements a sanitary bubble will be organized • Includes (hotel, transport, wrestling hall).

• All participants are obliged to stay in this bubble - leaving can be done only in emergencies and after coordination with the LOC.

4. Sanitary measures requested by UWW for LOC (Local Organizing Committee):

• All participants shall present at accreditation a certificate of negative PCR test of less than 72 hours.

• The LOC will conduct antigen rapid test before the accreditation. That will be free of charge for all participants.

• All participants will be asked to complete and sign a questionnaire related to Covid-19.

• In such case, epidemiological investigations will be initiated, according to the health regulations in Bulgaria

• Hand sanitizers and face masks will be provided by the LOC during the championship. • All places (transports, hotels, training place, competition hall, etc.) will be disinfected

several times per day.

• Competition mats will be regularly disinfected.

• Every athlete will pass a disinfection barrier when entering the field of play. • Hand disinfection before and after each bout.

• All participants /coaches, referees, medical and technical staff/ must wear face masks or face shield.

• A “Covid room” will be available in case of possible isolation.

• The LOC Medical team will consist of doctors in training and competition areas as well as a special team available 24 hours at the hotels.

• LOC will organize PCR-SARS Cov-2 test for all in need before returning home at the cost of 80 EUR /request during accreditation is necessary/.

• All the medical expenses related to COVID-19:

o For all participants not licensed by UWW all the expenses related to COVID-19 issue (tests, treatments, isolation, quarantine, hospital, etc.) must be covered by the Federation of the participant.

The World Health Organization has declared the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) a worldwide pandemic. Due to its capacity to transmit from person-to-person through respiratory droplets, the UWW and the Organizing Committee (“OC”) have set recommendations, guidelines, and some prohibitions throughout the Sanitary Protocol and the adjustments to the UWW International Wrestling Rules in this regard for official competitions on the UWW Calendar (the “Event”) and training camps organized in conjunction with such official competition.
