Improve Student Success with Classroom Assessment Techniques
Classroom assessment is both a teaching approach and a set of techniques. The approach is that the more you know about what and how students are learning, the better you
can plan learning activities to structure your teaching. The techniques are mostly simple, non-graded, anonymous, in-class activities that give both you and your student useful
feedback on the teaching-learning process. Participants will create activities to take back to the classroom and use. Bring your own lessons to work on!

Quality Matters at MCC (Official Peer Review Training)
Quality Matters (QM) is a nationally recognized, faculty-centered, peer review process designed to acknowledge the quality of online/hybrid courses. While the QM recognition is limited to online and hybrid courses, the principles used are not limited to any type of course. They can be easily applied to your face-to-face
courses using any Learning Management System (LMS). QM framework is about course design, and making your course navigation and structure intuitive, so that students’ questions will be more focused on the content of your course. QM recognized courses improve both student learning outcomes, student success, and retention.
