Point I/O Capacity

• The adapter supplies 1 amp of current to the Point I/O backplane, enough for

•To connect additional I/O modules, add 1734-EP24VDC Expansion Power Units as needed. Each one passes 1.3 amps of current to the modules on its right -- enough for 17 digital modules.

• Other I/O modules draw more current so refer to the published specs.

CompactBlock I/O

• Base blocks contain a maximum of 16 digital or 4 analog I/O.

• Built-in DeviceNet or PROFIBUS DP network adapter.

About this Configuration: L23 DeviceNet System

This CompactLogix based system with two integrated serial ports and an add-on DeviceNet communication module offer an economical solution to serve a variety of applications. It matches the basic layout of a classic control system, but provides the functionality of the Integrated Architecture.
