No matter where you’re headed – gearing up for a promotion, keeping up with industry changes or upgrading

your skills – our exceptional blend of academic learning and applied skills will get you on track – fast.

Our courses are offered in the afternoons, evenings, on weekends, and through online and distance education,

as well as compressed one- or two-week daytime formats. Some offerings are as short as one or two days.

Courses are offered at the Burnaby Campus as well as our Downtown, Marine, and Aerospace campuses.

While you can register for many Part-time Studies courses without being admitted to a particular program, some courses may require departmental approval before you can register. If you want solid academic preparation before entering a BCIT Technology program, this 15-week program is for you. Improve your skills in core areas such as communication, mathematics, chemistry and physics in order to meet program prerequisites. TE can also provide BC educational equivalents to supplement credentials earned in other school systems. TE is a great opportunity for you to strengthen your skills and explore BCIT program options at the same time. Upcoming intakes include September 2008 (Grade 11 science stream only) and January 2009 (includes Grade 12 science stream option). TE now offers Grade 12 science courses for prospective Civil Engineering students or others who need Chemistry 12 and Physics 12 to meet their Technology program entrance requirements.
