The BusinessMail Archiving service from iomartcloud allows users to decide, at a policy level, which mail items require archiving and who then has access to the archive. This can be simply set to archive all mail to or from a domain, or it could be applied to individual users or groups.
In addition to deciding what mail is to be archived, access levels can be set to restrict access to the mail archive. These access rights can range from simply providing all users with access to their own archives via the standard mail interface, through to allowing only specific, authorized, users to view the archived mail.

This will ensure there is no interruption to the mail service while the primary mail platform is restored.
Integration
How the mail archive is managed and accessed is determined by the system administrators through the web accessed Control Panel. The archive can be managed centrally with strict controls on who can access or view the data, or alternatively access to archives can be devolved to individual users. User access can be provided via a simple web interface or, if required, it can be easily added to the users Microsoft Outlook setup. This provides seamless drag and drop integration with no need for plugins.
