What to expect on an international trip
While on your trip, you will be staying at the SCORE Facilities unless other arrangements have been made. In some of the countries, you will stay in a hotel or at a Mission Organization’s facilities. With either housing arrangement, meals are provided.
Once you arrive, a SCORE representative will meet you at the airport and transport your group to your lodging facility. There you will be greeted by the SCORE Missionary serving in the field, and they will give you an itinerary of events for each day.
You can expect to serve in various ministry
opportunities each day, with one or two days reserved for planned excursions for fun.
Score will provide buses or vans in country to take you from the hotel to the areas you will be serving. A SCORE Missionary, along with interpreters, will be with your group when you travel to serve in each ministry location.

Through SCORE’s short-term trips, many people have the opportunity to participate in what God is already doing through ministries already in place, and come alongside the local church and missionaries.Trip participants will have a leisure day.
Groups usually participate in ministry for 5 days and then choose one leisure day where they can choose from the following activities.
Here is just a sample listing of leisure opportunities
available:

norkeling

Is the deposit applied to the cost of my trip?
Yes, your deposit is applied towards your final balance. How much spending money should I take?
$150-$200 is sufficient. Take in small denominations. When does the cost of my trip have to be paid?
All accounts are due 45 days prior to departure of your trip. How will I know who gave donations?
You can call our home office and ask for a statement which will give a detailed record of donors.
What if I do not raise enough funds?
You can pay the balance as a “Loan” to SCORE and we will reimburse you if we receive more funds, or, we will hold your funds for one year and you can travel on a trip the following year. (Please see our Policy and Procedures Manual for more information on the “Loan” process.)
Can I use the excess funds in my account for spending
money?
