1 The City has a great reputation for providing high quality utility services. i would be fully supportive of the City taking this on if they have the ability to make it happen. If not the City, then there needs to be strong competition within the market to provide great service at a price that does not gouge the consumer - I feel like I'm paying significantly more than I should have to for Comcast right now.

1 With really only two company's having a monopoly on high-speed Internet in Fort Collins for the majority of the city, they get to charge however much they want and even lock into service-only contracts with some areas that prevent the ability to find the cheapest vendor. movement is on the lower economic class. When the middle class is heard and understood, the lower class will benefit as well.
The majority of citizens are middle class and are a main source of revenue. It is important to keep this in mind as decisions and priorities are made.
1 Pleeeeaaassee make it so I don't have to five Comcast my money. Century link only offers a 1.5MB download to NY house, and it kills me to have to give a company like Comcast my money. A public option would be very desirable here.

Comcast and companies like them have time and again shown their unwillingness to improve and maintain their services like most other businesses; rather, they fight change and technological improvement at every corner.
1 Survey a bit messed up. As an antenna user for TV, there is no option for a TV service cost of $0, which is what it costs. And I can't give an estimate for probability of cancelling cable/satellite TV if I don't have it now.
1 Not enough options in quiz. We use Excede sat for internet and OTA/Netflix(DVD) for TV. Was spending about $78 a month to watch mostly Denver channels... WHY? Bought an antenna and a OTA DVR to record programs and blow away the
commercials.

1 the only thing that keeps me from cutting the cord is getting broadcast TV channels via Comcast. The low received signal strength of broadcast channels in the area and the need to have a separate switched antenna source to receive the signal is inconvenient.

Currently most neighborhoods really only provide one reasonable option. 1 The cost of living in Fort Collins is getting to be ridiculous. I was born and raised here for 34 years, and never considered moving until recently. The cost to live here is getting to be ridiculous. Hopefully offering cable, internet and phone through the City will actually be affordable and not just another way to make money. I am a single mother with twins and employed with the City, and my parents are paying most of my bills.
1 We have local telephone through OOMA which gets tunneled over the internet. Most of my video content is provided via Netflix which is tunneled over the internet. My wife continues to watch some video content via cable (mostly HGTV). We have contemplated dropping cable altogether. I wouldn't mind cable TV but the cost is high for the content that we actually use.
Maybe a lower cost channel package. Reliability has been a bit of an issue and I would like to see that improved. Download speed demands are higher than upload. I would prefer a high burst rate for upload but could deal with upload BW limits. Upload speeds can be shared without much impact to my needs. Download speed above 7Mbps is sufficient to meet my needs as long as it is dependable (i.e. not shared).
