You have to be very careful here because if you delete the administrator (BiOS), you will destroy the system.

EDIT USER

By pressing edit, you determine the rights of individual users. First a dialog box opens (Figure 18) in which you select the user. After clicking enter (2to1), a setup window opens, in which you set all rights of an individual user.

How to grant a right to a user to use certain programs

First assign the user to a certain group. See chapter Assign to group. When the user has been assigned to a group, click Edit user and a setup window (Figure 20) will open. Select a certain right (e.g. BiOS.DiagSoundTest), which you either enable (yes) or (read only) or (no) in the right corner.

By clicking this button, you add a new user to the group. A dialog box will open after the click (Figure 18) in which you select the user. Confirm the selection by clicking enter. A new window will open (Figure 21) in which you assign the selected user to a group.

• no_group

• admin

• finadmin

Description of the individual groups:

no_group:

The user in this group does not have any rights, i.e. does not have access to the BiOS software tool.

admin:

The user in this group has all the rights to use the BiOS software tool. He/she can change some settings, transfer data files to the USB disc and vice versa, can arrange the rights of the individual users, etc.

The user in this group has the same privileges that the user in admin group plus meters statistics (finances).

service:

This user group has the most limitations. The user in this group can only access basic functions and BiOS tools. He/she can only use the functions and tools that are needed for the gaming machine repair services, such as GC Terminal, Log viewer, Sound tester, etc..
