Time limit of handling: Handle it at once.

Handling process:

1. Insert the board properly and reset it.

2. If the alarm appears again, it indicates that the D101 chip on the board may be out of order, replace the board.

3. In case that the alarm still exists, contact the regional office of ZTE Corporation.

3. In case that the alarm still exists, contact the regional office of ZTE Corporation.

Alarm type: Equipment alarm

2.4.8.3Read/write fault of the BIE E1 interface chip 3 Alarm code: 0xD07

Alarm content: Read/write fault of the BIE E1 interface chip 3 Alarm level: 3

Alarm cause: Chip or communications failure

Influence of the alarm: The conversation is abnormal, or links between a part of TRUs and BSC

cannot be established, or the system fails to start normally.

Time limit of handling: Handle it at once.

Handling process:

1. Insert the board properly and reset it.

2. If the alarm appears again, it indicates that the D301 chip on the board may be out of order, replace the board.

3. In case that the alarm still exists, contact the regional office of ZTE Corporation.

Alarm type: Equipment alarm

2.4.8.4Loss of the BIE E1 interface signal 1 Alarm code: 0xD08

Alarm content: Loss of BIE E1 interface signal 1 Alarm level: 3

Alarm cause: Chip failure, abnormal clock signal, or poor E1 connection

Influence of the alarm: The conversation is abnormal, or links between a part of TRUs and BSC cannot be established, or the system fails to start normally.

Time limit of handling: Handle it at once.

Handling process:

1. Insert the board properly and reset it.

2. If the alarm persists, it indicates that the D101 chip on the board may be out of order, replace the board.

3. If the alarm still exists, the system clock may be abnormal, then reset the CKU.

4. If the alarm still exists, the physical link of the E1 A interface may be abnormal.

5. If the physical link of the E1 A interface is normal, and the alarm still exists, contact the regional office of ZTE Corporation.

Alarm type: Equipment alarm

2.4.8.5Loss of the BIE E1 interface signal 2 Alarm code: 0xD09

Alarm content: Loss of BIE E1 interface signal 2 Alarm level: 3

Alarm cause: Chip failure, abnormal clock signal, or poor E1 connection

Influence of the alarm: The conversation is abnormal, or links between a part of TRUs and BSC cannot be established, or the system fails to start normally.

Time limit of handling: Handle it at once.

Handling process:

1. Insert the board properly and reset it.

2. If the alarm appears again, it indicates that the D201 chip on the board may be out of order, replace the board.

3. If the alarm still exists, the system clock may be abnormal, then reset the CKU.

4. If the alarm still exists, the physical link of the E1 B interface may be abnormal.

5. If the physical link of the E1 B interface is normal, and the alarm still exists, contact the regional office of ZTE Corporation.

Alarm type: Equipment alarm

2.4.8.6Loss of the BIE E1 interface signal 3 Alarm code: 0xD0A

Alarm content: Loss of BIE E1 interface signal 3 Alarm level: 3

Alarm cause: The conversation is abnormal, or links between a part of TRUs and BSC cannot be established, or the system fails to start normally.

Influence of the alarm: Cascaded BTSs fails to start.

Time limit of handling: Handle it at once.

Handling process:

1. Insert the board properly and reset it.

2. If the alarm appears again, it indicates that the D301 chip on the board may be out of order, replace the board.

3. If the alarm still exists, the system clock may be abnormal, then reset the CKU.

4. If the alarm still exists, the physical link of the E1 C interface may be abnormal.

5. If the physical link of the E1 C interface is normal, while the alarm still exists, replace the BIE board of the cascaded BTS.

6. In case that the alarm still exists, contact the regional office of ZTE Corporation.

Alarm type: Equipment alarm

2.4.8.7Out of frame of the BIE E1 interface signal 1 Alarm code: 0xD11

Alarm content: Out of frame of the BIE E1 interface signal 1 Alarm level: 3

Alarm cause: Chip or clock failure, phase difference from the BSC clock, or poor E1 connection

Influence of the alarm: For occasional occurrence, it has little impact on conversations. But frequent occurrence (once several minutes) will cause abnormal conversation or abnormal link establishment between the main rack TRU and the BSC.

Time limit of handling: If it occurs occasionally, and the CKU is in free run mode, this alarm may be ignored; but for frequent occurrence, handle it as soon as possible.

Handling process:

1. Insert the board properly and reset it.

2. If the alarm persists, indicating that the D101 chip on the board may be out of order, replace the board.

3. If the alarm still exists, indicating that the system clock may be abnormal, reset the CKU.

4. If the alarm still exists, the physical link of the E1 A interface may be abnormal.

5. If the physical link is normal, and the alarm still exists, contact the regional office of ZTE Corporation.

Alarm type: Equipment alarm
