CHAPTER 5
“…that serene and blessed mood In which the affections gently lead us on,
Until, the breath of this corporal frame And even the motion of our human blood
Almost suspended, we are laid to sleep In body, and become a living soul:
While with an eye made quiet by the power Of harmony and the deep power of joy,
We see into the life of things.”

Globalization of Being
The Trinity of Peace
The Maharishi Doctrine states that “when suffering and
unrighteousness grows an invisible force of nature moves to correct man’s vision and establish a way of life which again will fulfill the high purpose of man’s existence.” This invisible force of nature is the natural result of Being manifesting in the hearts and minds of
The Ninth Siddhi Page 77
humanity, offsetting suffering and unrighteousness. Perhaps, because of the great loss of innocent life during the Second World War, Being today is manifesting in abundance on a global scale.
This globalization of Being is meaningful to the practitioners of the Ninth Siddhi, but in addition to signaling a time of revival, it also signals a time of great spiritual turmoil.
If we think of Being as a great river of bliss, love, and peace, then today it is fed by three tributaries each a broken seal of prophecy.
The first is the manifestation of Being produced by the Spiritual Regeneration Movement. This movement is responsible for millions of meditators that otherwise would not be experiencing
Transcendental Being today. Second, the stunning
acknowledgment by Rabbis and scientists that Transcendental Being has coded information in the Torah for us to use and employ.
This acknowledgement has even the most orthodox Rabbi searching inward whispering sacred sounds to encourage transcendence. And third, the great truth found in the New Christian Gospels that in the early days of the Christian Church Jesus taught the wisdom and knowledge of Transcendence. Now, millions of Christians can experience Transcendental Being and not be fearful they are performing an act not taught or encouraged by Christ. Why is this trinity of peace important to us today?
First, this phenomenon, this trinity of peace, is historically notable.
Never before in the history of Mankind has Being manifested from three distinctly different cultures. Considering that past revivals took place over thousands of years, the fact that three revivals of Transcendental Being should take place in a decade is remarkable.
And third, a revival of this magnitude, has never taken place on a global basis.
The Ninth Siddhi Page 78
We have seen great upheavals of Being in India as Krishna notes, but his teaching was taught on a regional basis, not global. Buddha taught the same great message, but only to the east and not on a global basis. Finally, Christ taught the virtues of transcendence, but only for a few hundred years before these teachings were lost to the orthodox and not taught on a global basis. In the last 5,000 years, humanity has not witnessed an abundance of Being the likes of which we are witnessing today. Reflecting on the power of the super radiance effect, we could speculate that if past revivals lasted 300 years each, then today’s three revival should last 900 to 1000 years.
For the practitioners of the Ninth Siddhi, this abundance of Being is an advantage and should be fully employed. This abundance of Being hones our Mantric tools allowing easier access to the Source of Thought and more specific placement of our energized intention for abundance, prophecy, and peace. Another way an abundance of Being helps the Ninth Siddhi and other techniques that teach super normal skills is through the Super Radiance Effect. If we increase the amount of Being in the world, then we increase the effect Being has on the world 10,000 times for the amount increased. This fact suggests it is easier for meditators to attain the proper brain coherence while meditating. It would also make it easier to
transcend and experience Transcendental Being. Consequently, this time period, a period of great revival, possibly the greatest revival of Being in the history of mankind, is the perfect time for meditators to take the next step and practice The Ninth Siddhi.
Chapter 1, Verse 1, Line 1
Given the magnitude of Being in the world today, why has violence not been eliminated? We have made progress. The Trinity of Peace has helped reduce violence. Over the last 60 years, violence and unrighteousness has been reduced, from World Wars that killed
The Ninth Siddhi Page 79
tens of millions of innocent souls to regional wars killing tens of thousands. But violence primarily in the Middle East persists. The Maharishi’s comments on Chapter 1, Verse 1, Line 1 of the
Bhagavad-Gita may offer some insight:
“A high degree of concentration of negative forces, without positive forces to
balance them, ends in suffering and destruction of life. Similarly, a high degree of concentration of positive forces
fails to maintain life in its normal state.
The life of an individual under the influence of increasing positive forces enters into a field of increasing happiness
and is eventually transformed into bliss-consciousness in which state it gains the status of cosmic existence, eternal life. In
this way, we find that the increase of negative forces ends in passivity or extinction of life, whereas the increase of
positive forces results in life eternal.”
Destruction and birth, good and evil, “Right Action” and
unrighteousness each play a role as creation moves life forward on the field of Dharma. Possibly one of the messages from the Gita is that negative forces will persist throughout time. We will never be completely free from violence as the positive and negative forces shape the destiny of life.
A Lullaby for Mary
The positive and negative forces of life shaped the destiny of Mary during the days of the living Christ. During the time that Christ walked the earth, he produced a significant Super Radiance Effect
The Ninth Siddhi Page 80
similar to today’s abundance of Being. To show the tremendous power of an energized intention set close to the Source of Thought by a group in a time of great revival, look to the passion of Mary. In the early Christian gospels, Mary Magdalene was an apostle of Christ. She was strong of spirit but weak of flesh. The new gospels state that Jesus healed her from disease.
In the process of healing Mary, some amount of the healing quality of Transcendental Being remained with Mary. This should not be surprising since we know that residual Being remains in our hearts and minds after every meditation. But in this case, since Jesus had perfected all the major and minor Siddhis, the Super Radiance Effect was palpable. In the act of healing Mary, Jesus created a state of consciousness in Mary that allowed her to maintain Transcendental Being while involved in activity. That is, during sleep and waking state, she maintained contact with transcendental awareness. This state of consciousness is defined in the Bhagavad-Gita as Cosmic Consciousness. In this way, she became a healer and practiced priestly rites. Consequently, she became one of Christ’s favored apostles along with Thomas for whom Christ said, “I am not your Master” meaning Thomas had attained Self awareness just like Mary.
But not all the apostles had the experience of Transcendental Being.
The Gospel of Philip relates this story about Jesus and Mary Magdalene.
“…the companion of the Savior is Mary Magdalene. But Christ loved her more than all the disciples and used to kiss her
often on her mouth. The rest of the disciples were offended…..They said to Christ, “Why do you love her more than
The Ninth Siddhi Page 81
all of us?” The living Jesus answered and said to them, “Why do I not love you as I
love her?”
Thus, the war against the feminine began in the Orthodox Church.
Never again would women be given tribute, priestly rites, or honor within the Church. These misunderstandings that God’s love is someplace outside of our own hearts, outside of our own experience, breeds jealousies, resentment, treachery, deceit, covetousness, and enviousness. These negative forces fester until fear and hatred matures into blood torn flesh, bloody feuds, and the extinction of life. Pope Gregory I “the Father of Christian Worship” so angry and
hateful that “God loved Mary more” wrote her into history as a prostitute, a whore and an unholy woman. Approximately 600 years after Pope Gregory, the Orthodox established the Court of the Inquisition. The most intuitive woman, the midwives, and healers, possibly the most spiritually gifted of Gnostic woman,
were labeled heretics and hundreds of thousands were killed at the hands of the Brotherhood. These killings were brutal, bloody, and torturous often times administered in public. It was as if the Brotherhood of the Cross were trying to exorcise the natural gifts of healing and prophecy out of the souls of these radiant spirits.
Such was the agony and passion of Mary.
The Ninth Siddhi Page 82
Today, The Ninth Siddhi sings a perfect song of love to all those who in the past were labeled prostitutes, whores, and unholy women. To all the misunderstood and abused, practice the Ninth Siddhi. Turn your attention inward toward Bliss, love, and peace.
Regain your tribute, exercise your priestly rites, and return your honor. Live with a dignity Mary never saw.
The Last Tearful Conflict
As seers write in the classical language of Sanskrit bringing us wisdom and knowledge of our destiny, the last tearful conflict is written in the language of the Hebrews. In a wolf cub dream, an actor descends to witness two brothers standing, belly to belly, chin to chin, in argument. One brother is chosen and spoken to by God.
He is to be freed from slavery, freed from suffering at the hands of the unrighteous, and promised a new land of wealth, prosperity, and peace. The other brother is not chosen. The not chosen shouts
“God loves you more.” Thus began the conflict in the Middle East, which persists to this day.
Conflicts arising from an individual’s or a people’s loss of contact with Being, which brings into one’s life Bliss, love and peace, are difficult to settle in the relative world or the world of the ego. These thoughts and feelings about the love of God manifest from thoughts and feelings, close to the Source of Thought and are, as the practice of the Ninth Siddhi and Mary’s Lullaby show, eternally powerful.
These conflicts will never be settled in the sphere of relative existence. In the case of the Middle East, no amount of diplomacy will suffice. No army is large enough to change the hearts and minds of men felt slighted by God. Forgiveness will not work since no sin was committed; only a misunderstanding about the nature of God’s love. The Ninth Siddhi has one reasonable solution. Practice the Ninth Siddhi and allow the Maharishi Effect to, if not eliminate
The Ninth Siddhi Page 83
violence, lessen the brutality of the final conflict and extend the time of revival. However, there may be another final solution.
A Principal of Peace
Today, as the Arab spring blossoms and tyrants fall from grace to be replaced by Brothers of Faith, a solution may be unfolding. As the delta of the Holy River of Being fed by the Trinity of Peace solidifies in the desert of the Middle East, a final solution may be at hand. In past revivals the torrent of Being has never been so swift, its
expanse never so great, its domain never more influential while unrighteousness and chaos prevailed. The Maharishi doctrine states that when suffering and unrighteousness grows an invisible force of nature moves to correct man’s vision. Could a spiritual leader emerge in the Middle East to show the correct path to
righteousness? Will a Principal of Peace emerge born of the abundance of Being in the world today. Is this the final peaceful solution?

CHAPTER 6
“According to the Maharishi Ayur-ved, it is primordial sound that structure and direct all matter and energy. They are the basic impulses of
natural law that are responsible for all creation.
Like seeds about to sprout, these impulses of nature’s intelligence are not yet manifest, but are vibrating within themselves, forming the dynamic,
self referral fabric of the Unified Field. This unmanifest fabric of primordial sound is the basis
of our own physiology of consciousness.”
