Status of the course in the study Programme: obligatory choice in the study programme ,,Art therapy”.

Aim of study subject – to analyse the sense of art philosophy and analyse the main problems of art philosophy in art therapy specialization contexts.

Task of study programme – to analyse the art as culture phenomenon, to understand the main problems of art philosophy, promote the understanding of art interpretation and its methods.

Course description and objectives of the course: main princips of formation and development of the human body; characteristic of different tissues; constituion and functions of the locomotor system; constituion, functions and topography of the internal organs; circulatory system; sensory organs; endocrine glands; central and peripheral parts of the nervous system.

Objective of the course is to provide students with general knowledge of structure and functions of the organ systems and their intercommunications.

Prerequisites: all disciplines of biology within the secondary school programme.

Learning outcomes:

- knowledge: As a result of mastering the study programme students will have acquired knowledge of constitution, topography and main functions of the organ systems of the human body partly using anatomy terminology and anatomy terms in Latin language.

- practical skills and competences: students will be able to recognize the organs and anatomical structures on study aids and to use appropriate specialized literature.

Course description and Objectives of the course

Mind and organism as a unit. Basic structural elements of organism, functional systems, excitable tissue, reflex, reflex arc. Vegetative and somatic functions of the organism and characteristic of events in the organism, neuronal basis for psychic functions. Observation and record of the main physiological functions of organism. Student need to aquire basic knowledge of different physiological processes in healthy organism and relation to psychic.

Prerequisites: anatomy, biology, medical physics, chemistry.

Learning outcomes:

- knowledge. In the course of study programme student will gain knowledge about different physiological processes in the organism and competence to apply them in future studies and professional work.

Objectives ot the course – give overwiew of the main ways in clinical psychology, theoretical conceptions, practical use, improve the student’s insight of illness as a process, the psychical process changes during the illness.

Course description: concept of norm, formation of pathopsychology, it ‘s classification, methods of diagnostic. Pathopsychology. The conteptual and terminological diferences between pathopsychology and psychopathology. The changes, reasons, classification of psychical processes. Patient’s collaboration. The organization structure of personality. Inside sickness, conflict, conflict avoiding ways, the methods of psychodynamic and bihavioural theories.

Psychological and ethical aspects during rehabilitation, cognitive and emotional disturbance connected with illness; the main changes of psychical process, emotion, its roll in the aspect of clinical psychology. Chronically ill child in family. Psychical and somatic disorder in different ages. The psychiological aspects of oncological deseases. Children and parent reaction. Crisis insihgt. Stages of crisis. Coping the crisis.

Insight of anxiety. Anxiety as a psychosocial problem. Anxiety and fear. The self . The loss of biological integration.

Somatogenic psychical reactions. Specific bihaviour disorders connected with eating.
