Hi Alan
Just a quick postcard from Powerfun Adventure Camp.
It’s my last day today and I have had so much fun here.
On the first day, I woke up at five in the morning and went sailing all day. We were really lucky because the weather was perfect. The next day we went hiking in the mountains. I was in this forest with a friend called John and we got lost. We didn’t have a compass and it was a nightmare. Luckily, we found our way back to camp before it got dark. I haven’t done many water sports but I went bungee-jumping. That was amazing! Today, we’re going to try hang-gliding. I’m a bit scared but I think it’s going to be brilliant. One week isn’t enough, I can tell you. I want to stay another.
See you soon, Billy

5. Who is going to be the Kings’ coach next year?
a. Lenny Bolden.
Write a paragraph about a holiday when everything went wrong. Include the following information.
Last night the streets of Blackton were full of basketball fans after the Blackton Kings won the National Championship.
The Kings beat the Heatley Tigers 104-103 in a very exciting game.
The star of the game was the local man Lenny Bolden. He played a truly fantastic game, he scored 32 points and the last two in the last second to win the game for the Kings.
The Kings have won four championships in five years and it’s all thanks to their coach, Dave Rippon. He has been with the Kings for ten years now and he has been very successful. Unfortunately, it was Rippon’s last game as coach for the Kings last night.
The question is ‘Who is going to be coach next year?’ Well, many fans would like Lenny Bolden. But maybe he’s not ready to be coach yet.
