Hi Gavin
We‛re having a great time here in Barcelona. We usually go swimming in the morning but it‛s cloudy and chilly today so we‛re doing what all tourists do. We‛re buying souvenirs. We‛re writing this postcard from a café at the moment. We‛re tired and we need some time to relax. Later we‛re taking the train to the city centre. We want to visit an art gallery. Barcelona is a lovely place for a holiday and we‛re staying in a nice hotel by the beach. There‛s a big balcony and you can see the city. It‛s beautiful at night.
What about you? Are you having fun at work? See you in about a week,

What can I do?
Mike, London
Allergies can become serious problems so it’s important that you do something about it. Ask friends, neighbours or family to take the dogs. That way you can visit them. Another thing you can do is move house. Find one with a garden. Good luck!
I’m having problems with my two

Why can’t they see how I feel? They

Simon, Ipswich
You should try talking to your flatmates again. Maybe you can make them understand. Do you have a garden or a balcony? You can always put the dog there. But don’t just go home with a dog one day! They will never speak to you again. Is that what you want?

RE AD
On my first day at university, something terrible happened. I was on an Information Technology course and my first class started at nine o’clock. I woke up very late and I had no time for breakfast, so I bought an orange juice from the university cafeteria. I ran into the room and everyone was at a
computer. They all looked at me and I went to sit behind a computer, but I still had my orange juice. The teacher said, ‘You can’t drink that in here.’ But as I walked across the room I tripped, and the orange juice went all over a classmate and her computer. Luckily, the computer was OK, and the classmate, Clara, saw the funny side of it. In fact, we’re good friends now. Still, it wasn’t a good start.

Hi Alan
Just a quick postcard from Powerfun Adventure Camp.
It’s my last day today and I have had so much fun here.
On the first day, I woke up at five in the morning and
went sailing all day. We were really lucky because the
weather was perfect. The next day we went hiking in the
mountains. I was in this forest with a friend called John
and we got lost. We didn’t have a compass and it was
a nightmare. Luckily, we found our way back to camp
before it got dark. I haven’t done many water sports
but I went bungee-jumping. That was amazing! Today,
we’re going to try hang-gliding. I’m a bit scared but I
think it’s going to be brilliant. One week isn’t enough, I
can tell you. I want to stay another.
See you soon,

Last night the streets of Blackton were full of basketball fans after the Blackton Kings won the National Championship.
The Kings beat the Heatley Tigers 104-103 in a very exciting game. The star of the game was the local man Lenny Bolden. He played a truly fantastic game, he scored 32 points and the last two in the last second to win the game for the Kings.
The Kings have won four championships in five years and it’s all thanks to their coach, Dave Rippon. He has been with the Kings for ten years now and he has been very successful. Unfortunately, it was Rippon’s last game as coach for the Kings last night.
The question is ‘Who is going to be coach next year?’ Well, many fans would like Lenny Bolden. But maybe he’s not ready to be coach yet.
