Location: Indiana USA

Project management, project scoping, preliminary design and detailed cost estimate to increase the delivery capacity from the terminal to a connecting carrier.

Project included detailed station hydraulic study, redesign of the central manifold, manifold relief, three 900 hp vertical can booster pumps, sump system, custody transfer meter skid for 400mbpd, sampling skid, electrical control building, terminal electrical load study and interconnection to a connecting carrier pump station.

Final design is in progress and the work includes, project management, detailed design material specifications and construction support.

Project Description: Redesign & Construction Management for Crude Terminal Expansion

Project Title:

Location: Indiana USA

Designed and provided construction management to interconnect two 36-inch crude lines between two terminals. The work included hydraulic analysis of the new pipelines and terminal, connection of the pipelines to two manifolds, modifications to the existing central manifolds, addition of two new headers, interconnection to a third party pipeline, and the addition of a vertical can booster pump. Total footage was 1.5 miles.

Provided all engineering design for the interconnection of a crude oil pipeline to an existing terminal. The facilities included 1,800 feet of 24-inch pipeline, a receiver, gravitometer, ultrasonic line balance meter, control valve, relief system, interconnections to the tank manifold, modifications to the manifold and new electrical and control building.

Designed the interconnection between a pipeline terminal and connecting carrier.

The project included two miles of new 6-inch pipeline, conversion of 35 miles of pipeline from natural gas to propane, design of a 4-inch custody meter facility on each end of the pipeline, the interconnection of the two pipelines, and the connections to the manifolds and propane caverns.

The project evaluated multiple pipeline routes ranging from 100 to 290 miles.
