Conditions
∂ Minimum advance purchase period of three days

Ticket may also be issued in the other direction. Please contact the Help Desk if required. Tickets are only valid for the day and train on which a seat reservation has been made. Persons travelling as part of the same group receive a single travel document
up to a maximum of five individuals per ticket, including any children. One child counts as one person in this respect.
Holders of 2nd class GA travelcards qualify for reduced 1st class tickets in Switzerland. For the Swiss route section, a class upgrade should be issued with Railticketing Article 125.

6.2.4 Period of validity
Tickets printed on security paper are valid for one month.Online TEE Plan&Spar tickets via Partner Service are valid as follows:
∂ The ticket is train-specific (processing as at present, via a seat reservation; this takes the form of a separate print@home document)
∂ one day for the outward journey, one for the return ∂ tickets are not transferable
6.2.5 Class upgrades and route changes
Neither class upgrades nor route changes are permitted on cross-border services.
6.2.6 Journey interruptions
A journey may be broken as long as this does not interfere with the passenger's seat reservations and as long as any restrictions with respect to validity and outward/return travel are adhered to. (No spontaneous break of journey possible)
6.2.7 Reservations
All reservable trains for outward and return travel must be booked via Railticketing. Seat reservations are not mandatory for national services within Switzerland.

As tickets can only be issued at the normal price for a maximum of five persons, families with more than three children aged 6-14 qualify for a free ticket for each additional child (Art. 6856).

Charges are calculated in accordance with T 600.9

6.4.3 Conditions of use
The train to which the ticket is linked is printed in the routing requirements on the ticket. Journeys may be broken within the validity period (the train link still applies)
6.4.4 Validity
Tickets are valid on the days printed on them and for the trains booked. Valid on local trains before/after long-distance services on the day of travel and until 10:00 the following day.
6.4.5 Price
Sparpreise (savings fares) are fixed prices for a one-way journey.
There may be price differences between attended and unattended channels.
6.4.6 Fare reductions
Bahncard
The Bahncard 25 gives a 25% reduction. It cannot be used cumulatively with a Bahncard 50 or 100.
6.4.7 Companion's reduction
A companion's reduction applies to up to four accompanying persons.
6.4.8 Children

6.5.2 Connecting tickets

6.5.3 Conditions of use
The train to which the ticket is linked is printed in the routing requirements on the ticket.
One or two breaks of journey are permissible within the validity period (the train link still applies)
6.5.4 Validity
The validity period is one month. The sections of the route linked to a specific train (only those starting at the Swiss border) are only valid on the train and the day for which they were issued.
6.5.5 Price
Prices depend on the available price level.
6.5.6 Reduction
