Segments of the status indicator light up yellow or red to distinguish display messages according to their priority rating.

The status indicator lights up yellow for particular operating states (e.g. differential lock switched on) and malfunctions of low priority (e.g. when a bulb is defective).

The status indicator lights up red for malfunctions of high priority, e.g. when the alternator is defective.
