Google Android Phone OS application and operation
System requirements: : : :
Operation systems:Google Android 2.1 or later.
Wireless network support (GPRS/ 3G/ Wifi…etc.)
To activate remote viewing through mobile devices, please follow the instructions for software installation:
*You must have your mobile devices connected to the internet before installation.
Step1. Select “Market” Step2. Add a Google account.

Step3. Click “Accept”.
Step4. Type string to search
Step5. Choose “BuboBubo” and click “Install”.
Step6. Downloading….. Step7. Install completed.
*”BuboBubo” is the name of iCatch Google phone viewer software.

Step 8. Step 9.
A default recoring (dvr1) is showed. Tap Edit button. The list is editable when the color of Edit button is gray.
Step 10.
Type in DVR’s name, IP address, port, user name, and password.
Function of below icons:
JPEG / H264 : image format.
Save: save the settings.
Clear: clear up the settings.
Cancel: do nothing and return to the previous page.
Delete: delete this record.
Step 11.
Tap New button to add a new DVR.
Step 12.
Finish editing dvrs and then tap Edit button. The DVRs are connected when the color of Edit button is white.

Select one to connect. Start connecting….
*It takes a while to initialize when it is in H.264 format.

Switch channel: Tap Channel to select channels.
*To view single channel, double-click on the split screen.
Scroll forward to view next channels, backward to view previous channels.

Step 22. Control PTZ.
If a PTZ is connected, a visible bold line appears at the bottom right of the screen. Scroll left,
there is a PTZ button.
*select “enable PTZ” in local site DVR (Main Menu – PTZ&RS485 Setup) to enable PTZ remote control.
Tap PTZ to control PTZ.
A PTZ icon appears at the top right corner in portrait mode.
Go Preset – go to a preset point
Set Preset – set a preset point
IRIS+ / IRIS- – activate/deactivate IRIS.
Focus+ / Focus- – adjusting focal distance Cursor:
Zoom in / Zoom out – pinch to zoom in or zoom out.
Pan / Tilt – To control PTZ movement (viewing direction) by touching the screen and
scrolling on the frame. The white circle indicates the point of origin. The point of origin is set when the finger touches the screen.

Internet needed for Mobile device operation platform (GPRS/ 3G/ Wifi…etc.)
Software installation
In order to remote log in to DVR to live monitoring through mobile device, first of all, please follow the instructions for software installation:
Step 1: Visit Blackberry official website
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/ www.blackberry.com. Download Blackberry Desktop Manager and install it in PC
Step 2: Connect Blackberry USB transmission cable to Blackberry and PC. Activate Blackberry Desktop Manager on PC and it will automatically connect to Blackberry momentarily.

Step 3:Execute”Application Loader”
Step 4: Execute “Add/Remove Applications”
Step 5: Please copy”dvrh264.alx” and “dvrh264.cod” to PC.
The software is available on iCatch webpage or in the User CD that comes with each of iCatch DVR.
Step 6: Find “dvrh264.alx” in Blackberry Desktop Manager. After activating the software, press “Next.” The software will be installed in Blackberry automatically. Remove USB cable after installation.
Software operation
After the software is installed completely, enter “Download” menu in the mobile device and execute program, “H264MIDlet”

Add new log-in DVR
In order to connect to DVR, please input DVR information to the mobile device.
Press “option” → “Add”, and then enter “DVR IP,” “port,” “log-in account,” and, ”log-in password.” Press “ok” to save.
Log in onto the DVR
Multiple DVR information can be saved with this software,
therefore, please choose the DVR that’s wished to be connected.
Press “Option” → “Login” to log in to DVR for live monitoring.
Connecting time depends on the Internet transmission environment.
Connect successfully. DVR image appears.
Note:If recording function isn’t on for any channel in DVR end, that channel will not be available for live monitoring.
Modify the Login Information of DVR
If DVR log-in information is wished to be modified, please select the DVR. Enter “Option” →
“Modify” for editing the existing data. Press “OK” when it’s finished.
Delete DVR Existing Record (Connection Information)
If DVR connection information is no longer needed, please select the DVR.
Press “Option” → “Delete” to delete the DVR connection information.
Live Image Operation
After successfully connecting to DVR, single channel view, image display changes, image quality adjustments, alarm on/off features … etc. are available through the software.
Live Image Display
When viewing live images, please select “Single.”
There is channel 1 to 16 available.

Image size
Due to the variety sizes of mobile device screens, this software offers two different methods for image display. Press “Size” in menu, and then there will be options, “Original” and “Fit Screen” available to choose from.
Image Rotation
There are two options for live image display. One is to appear as its original image, or to rotate the image by 90 degrees.
Press “Rotate” in menu and there will be options, “Normal” and
“Rotate” available to choose from.
Alarm
Besides DVR live monitoring, alarm feature is also available through this software. If events like, Motion Detection, Sensor Detection, VLOSS …etc. occur, there will be alarm sound and alarm images appear on the status.
Press “Alarm” in menu, there will be options,
“Alarm OFF” and “Alarm ON” available to choose from.
Option Description
Original Image appears as its original size.
Fit Screen Image appears to be the most optimized size according to the screen.
iPhone Software installation and operation
iTune software installation and registration
STEP1: Download iTunes
Visit Apple website http://www.apple.com/itunes/ to download & install the iTunes.
Step 2 Register iTunes Store
Run the installed iTunes, you might need to create an account to visit iTunes store firstly.
Move to the menu “Store”, and click the option “Create Account”.

Step 3: Continue

Please note that the options of Payment Method are different from different regions, please select another payment method.
Don’t worry, “SCDVR” is a free software & you don’t need to pay for it.
Step 6: Finished the register, go to your email box to verify your account.

Step 7: Click the link included in the email message.
Step 8: It will connect to the iTunes store and turn to iTunes interface.
Step 9: Sign in your account.
Step 10: The register of your iTunes store account has been done.
“scdvr” software installation ( From iTunes )
Step 1: Click iTunes Store(1), then input “scdvr” into the search bar(2) on the right upper corner and press Enter.

Step 2: You will find the ScDvr icon displayed as below.
Click the icon and it will turn to the download page. Click the “FREE APP” button to download the file.
Step 3: You will find the downloaded file on the directory of Application
Step 4: Connect your iPhone to the computer, you will find your Device displayed on the left sidebar. Select the DEVICES ID(1), and then click “Applications” option(2). Select the “Sync Applications” & “ScDvr” (3) and then click “Sync” button(4).

Step 5: After finishing the sync, you will find the ScDvr Icon on your iPhone.
“scdvr” software installation ( From App Store )
Step 1: iPhone connect to internet ( GPRS/3G/Wifi…), and run App Store program.

Step 2: Search the “Scdvr’’ program.
Step 3: Show Scdvr information & “Free” icon.
Step 4: Press “Free” icon till it become “Install” then click and run install program.
Step 5: Sign in Username & Password.

Step 6: Wait process complete. iPhone will generate a new ScDvr program.
How to operate “ScDvr” program.
Run ScDvr program in the beginning.
Add new DVR information.
When you use ScDvr program first time, you must enter and save DVR’s information.
Please press the “Add” then enter the DVR’s Name/ IP/ Port/ Username/ Password, after these information fill. Click “GO” this button will connect to the DVR and save these DVR’s information automatically.

How to log in DVR.
“ScDvr” can store many DVR’s information, You can choose the DVR you need and press
“GO” to log in.
The login take time depend on network bandwidth. Live view will appear when login successfully.
PS: Can view the channel content from the account settings and set the permissions.
How to change DVR’s information.
If you need to change DVR’s information, please press the “Edit” and change the information, run “GO” to save.

How to use ScDvr to Live monitor.
When Live view, click the lower window. A control table will appear. You can switch the Live View from CH1~CH4 and on/off the voice. Press the “Uidvr”. You can back to the previous page.
You can choose the live view display with original angle or 90/ 180/ 270 rotation angle from anti-clock direction when you press the “R” button right of the corner,

Mobile device that supports GPRS/ 3G protocol and Java cldc1.0/midp 2.0 environment
*Please download both” DVRX264.jar” and “DVRX264.jad” to operate the function.
Mobile Application Installation
Please follow the steps cited below to perform the mobile device surveillance function.
Step 1: The mobile application called “DVRX264.jar” and “DVRX264.jad” need to be installed in your mobile device.The application can be transferred to your mobile device from the CD that packed with DVR through Bluetooth or USB cable.
Step 2: Install the application software “DVRX264.jar” in your mobile device. It might be installed automatically after downloading; otherwise, select it from the downloading file for installation.

Mobile Application Operation
After the installation, enter the Program Files menu in your mobile device to run a file called “DVRX264”.
Select “Menu” at the right lower corner of your mobile screen, 4 commands, Login Add Modify and Delete, will show up.
Add New Login DVR
To log into the DVR, you need to enter the logging-in DVR information. Find “Add” under the
“Menu” then enter logging-in DVR’s IP address, Port number, account name and password.
Press “Add” to save this information after entering.
Logging Onto the DVR
Use the Login command to log onto a DVR and monitor live images. If multiple DVRs have been added to the mobile application, they will be listed by name, you can select one to log onto.
A confirmation message might show up for network charge before connection. The fee rate will depend on the telecom company and package fee you go with.
Network connectivity will take some time. It’ll be affected by networking environment and bandwidth flow.
Live image will show up after a successful connection.
PS: Can view the channel content from the account settings and set the permissions.
Modify the Login Information of DVR
You can use the “Modify” command to change the login information of DVR. The dialogue is identical to that of the “Add” command.
Delete the Login Information of DVR
“Delete” command can be used to remove the DVR information if it is no longer useful. Select the DVR on the name list then choose “Delete”

Live Monitoring Operation
This paragraph describes some operation under the LIVE monitoring mode in your mobile device.
Scroll the Image
You can use the keypad on your mobile device to scroll the image if it’s oversized.

Image Quality Setup
Select “Quality” under the “Menu”
There will be 5 levels for your to choose: Low、Normal、
Middle、High and Highest.
Channel Display
Select “Single” under the
“Menu”, there will be all channels of your DVR in list for you to choose.
Size of Image
The screen size of different mobile device can be different. You can select “Size” under the
“Menu” to choose from “Original” or “Fit Screen” to resize the display image.
Rotate the image
The Live image can be displayed in normal or rotate to 90 degrees. Select “Rotate” under the “Menu” for this operation.
Alarm
This application not only allows you to remotely monitor through mobile device but receive the alarm that has been triggered by events such as Motion Detected, Sensor Triggered and Vloss.
Graphical icons below will be shown on the status:

Select the “Alarm” under the “Menu” to switch this function on or off.

Application Installation and Operation for Windows Mobile
There is one application for Window Mobile OS. The one for H.264 compression can transfer both audio and video signal to your mobile device.
System Requirement:
Mobile device OS:Windows mobile system 5.0 above.
Mobile device need to support internet: GPRS/3G/Wifi…
etc.
Mobile Application Installation
Please follow the steps cited below to perform the mobile device surveillance function on your mobile device (mobile phone, PDA ...etc).
Step 1: The mobile application called “H264Pocket.CAB”
need to be installed in your mobile device. The application can transferred to your mobile device from the CD that packed with DVR through Bluetooth or USB cable.
Step 2: Install the application software “H264Pocket.CAB” in your mobile device, the folder named “H264Pocket” will be created. It might be installed automatically after downloading;
otherwise, select it from the downloading file for installation.
Mobile Application Operation
After the installation, enter the Program Files menu in your mobile device to file named
“DVRU264Pocket” and run “H264Pocket”program.
This application allows you to remotely logon and monitor DVR. Press “OK” to bring up the operation menu, see below chart to further information.

Operation under the LIVE monitoring.
After successful log on the DVR, press “View” to bring up operation menu. You can choose the channel, resize the image, choose the quality, and turn on/off the status bar, alarm, full screen display….etc

Alarm through your mobile device can be triggered if there is event to be detected. You can also uncheck the “Alarm” under the “View” to inactivate this function.

Full Screen Full screen display You can choose one channel to display in full screen by check this function.
