GRADUATE ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT

1. ISU Graduate Application - Online
PLEASE submit the ISU Graduate Application, fee, financial statement, and official transcripts from all institutions you have attended (http://www.admissions.iastate.edu/apply/graduate.php).
Department Supplemental Application Materials:
Complete and upload all required documents to your online ISU Graduate Application account. We will have access to all your uploaded documents once you have completed and submitted your ISU Graduate Application and pay the

2. Department Supplemental Application and Personal Statement
Complete the application below and upload to your online ISU Graduate Application account along with all required materials.
3. Official Transcripts.
From all schools you’ve attended in which you received grades and credits, whether or not for a degree.
4. THREE Letters of Recommendation
While completing the online ISU Graduate Application, provide three letter writers' email addresses, where prompted. Your letter writers will receive an email from the ISU Graduate Admissions Office with instructions for submitting their Letter of Recommendation. The Department of Psychology will have access to these letters for departmental review.
5. GRE Scores
The General exam is required for all applicants. The GRE subject exam in Psychology is recommended. In addition to having your GRE scores sent electronically by ETS, you must provide a copy of your GRE scores with percentiles (screen shot or copy) by uploading it to your ISU Graduate Application account.
6. TOEFL Scores
TOEFL official scores are required for all international students when first language is not English. TOEFL is waived only if you have received a degree from a U.S. school. Make a copy of your TOEFL scores and upload to your ISU International Graduate Application. Domestic students do NOT complete this exam.
