Event centre is situated in a beautiful setting in the heart of Českomoravská vrchovina and it is good known as a centre of cross-country skiing World Cup which is organized here every year. Hotel SKI, one of the official accommodation places, runs only several meters from ski arena. It is an elegant and modern hotel designed mainly for sport and holidays. Event centre is situated 2 kilometers north of Nové Město na Moravě.

rogramme
World MTB-O Championships will be organized according to the Competition rules for IOF mountain bike orienteering events. Riding off the track, trail or path is prohibited. It is allowed running or walking off the track with the bicycle 20 cm above ground. There is one class for women and one for men. No age restriction.
Each federation may enter a team of up to 16 competitors - up to 8 women and 8 men. Number of officials is not limited.
Maximum number of participating competitors from one federation in the competitions:
• Sprint final maximum 4 competitors in each class from one federation (increased limit compare to Bulletin 2!!)
• Middle final maximum 6 competitors in each class from one federation + current world champion of the discipline if she/he is the member of the Federation team
• Long qualification maximum 6 competitors in each class from one federation + current world champion of the discipline if she/he is the member of the Federation team
• Long final the best competitors from qualification race heats qualify for the final according to par 6.8 Rules
• Relay two teams in each class from one Federation, each consisting from 3 team members. Only the better one count for final rank

Sprint - moderately broken terrain with high density of wide tracks with good rideability.
Middle - moderately broken terrain with net of asphalt roads densed by net of many forest tracks and paths demanding technical skills.
Long - area of qualification is partly hilly nad partly moderately hilly. Part of the final terrain is hilly and another one is flat. Both terrains have net of asphalt forest roads densed by narrow or wide tracks and paths. Some of the paths could be wet or broken by forest technique.
Relay - hilly terrain with high density of wide and passable tracks. In small part of the area are small forest paths which could be wet.
The SportIdent system will be used for all events. Competitors start with their own SI-card. Organizer provides SI-card on request.
We can recommend 5 days MTBO in Plzeň, 4. - 8.7. 2007, http://www.mtbo5days.eu/ The first half of August is season with the stable weather, sunny, partly cloudy; average temperature is 16-19 degrees Celsius (20-25 during the days, 6-13 in the nights). Sometimes short showers.

There are three locations for the team accommodation at the event centre. All categories include breakfast, lunch and dinner from dinner Sunday 5th August to
breakfast Sunday August 12th. All meals will be served in the accommodation places
except lunch on Tuesday (Middle) and Friday (Long final) when a packed lunch will be available at the accomodation during the breakfast. All competitors and officials will receive vouchers for food. Special food requirements must be indicated in advance on the final entry form.
Use of private cars is allowed. Organizer will organize transport on request.
If you are interested to enhance number of your participants in sprint event (limit increased from 3 to 4), please send a message to [email protected] before June 15th,
2007. Extra entry fee for these competitors will be asked cash in event centre. Please send „final entry form“, i.e. named entry of all official participants of your team with SI-cards numbers of competitors before 25th July 2007. We would like to ask you to fill and send „Questionaire“ of every single competitor of your team too, for use by speaker of MTB WOC TV-coverage.
Please, request for accomodation and catering by using „Preliminary press and extra representatives accreditation form“ before June 30th, 2007. Acreditation of media is free of charge.

Citizens of European Union do not need visas for entering to the Czech Republic. Participants from other countries plaese contact Czech embassies or consulates for information.
Organizer will provide first aid at the competition centre of each event and in the finnish. Organizer will not bear costs connecting to health insurance of participants. We recommend a personal health insurance. Each participant takes part on its own risk.

Saturday, 11th August 2007 and Sunday, 12th August 2007
at Event center, 2-days score MTBO race of couples „Bike adventure“. It is an unusual cycling marathon where you aren´t bound by a set route length but you just ride what you manage to ride. It´s a cycling trip according to a tourist map. A thrilling combinative puzzle where you try to solve the problem how to achieve as many points as possible during the pre-set time limit and moreover you change the chosen tactics several times according to how you are running short of energy.
