Maths-This week we are practising recognising and using British coins and notes.
Activity 1: To recognise and compare coins Practise using the names of coins and notes and remembering their amounts by
working through some 1, 2 or 3 chilli problems.
Activity 2: To count in multiples of 2, 5 and 10.
Use your skip counting to support you counting in 2p, 5p and 10p to solve problems Activity 3: To compare amounts of money Use your symbols < > and = to make the money number sentences make sense. Activity 4: To make a total amount by adding
Work out how much the ice creams cost.

This week we are looking at the book The Day the Crayons Quit by
Drew Daywalt
Activity 1: To use informative
language. Create a missing poster to help Duncan find his crayons.
Activity 2: To justify answers, arguments and opinions. Create a persuasive speech on which is the best crayon.
Activity 3: To use inference to match the statement.s Match the
statement to the crayon who said it. Activity 4: To answer questions based on a book. Test your knowledge of the story through a board game.
Mental Maths
Keep practise your counting to 2s, 5s and 10s Say, sing or chant your number bonds to 10 and 20
Practise doubling and halving numbers up to 20. You could try this game to help you.
