Creating Manifest for batch PST File Exporting.

A manifest file is a meta-data file that contains name-value pairs organized in a XML format. The name-value pairs are user email addresses associated with PST Files to be exported to the Appliance. The main reason for associating email addresses with PST file(s) is to set the BCC address in the individual emails to the associated email address so the user of the appliance can search for their own emails when those emails where sent to the user thru a BCC or distribution list. In other words it is possible to have emails in users PST Files that don't have their email address in the emails.

The Create Manifest dialog has two parts, a tree view of User name/Email addresses and possible child PST files that have been dragged from the PST File List View. And a list of PST Files that can be dragged to specific users in the tree view. Menu and Toolbar options all users to add user/email addresses to the tree view and add PST files to the list view.

(9)
