In grade school, one of the nuns told our class that we should always remember that Jesus is the unseen visitor in every home, a guest at every meal and a friend in every moment. If we thought about it, she said, we would avoid sin and please God in all that we said or did. In our young minds, it explained precisely the spiritual relationship we had with the Lord.

Today, the end of the Church year celebrates the Kingship of Christ and we are presented with an image that seems any- thing but royal. The throne of Jesus is the cross and His dominion extends to all creation and all things, good and evil. In destroying sin, He wins for us everlasting life. No king has ever fought a battle with such enormous consequences, so great that we measure history as before and after Christ.

If someone enters your home, would they know about your faith? Do you have those reminders of God’s presence among us: a crucifix, a small statue, or a religious painting? Is a Bible enthroned in your home? If indeed we call Jesus the King of the World, and the Ruler of our Hearts, where does He fit in? Give the Lord some recognition and some space in your home. He’ll be sure to make space for you in His.

SHARING OUR BLESSINGS - November 14, 2021 Weekly $3796; Online Giving $110 Fuel $78; Diocesan Obligations $1106;

Thank You for Your Generosity!

God Bless You!

VOTIVE MASS AND NOVENA TO ST. JOSEPH Every Wednesday we have the opportunity to pray to God through the intercession of St. Joseph for our inten- tions. St. Joseph is a powerful intercessor and we can bring our needs and petitions to him. Please join us at 7:00pm in our weekly Novena and Devotion to our Patron. You may want to state your intentions on the petition slips available in Our La- dy of Czestochowa Chapel to be read during the devotion.

Stewardship Note: Life is short. How much time, energy and money do you put into building “your” kingdom here on earth? We all know we can’t take it with us. The real king- dom is in the next life. Yet, how much time, energy and mon- ey do you invest in working for that eternal kingdom? Ask God for His guidance. Detach from earthly posses- sions. Generously share your material goods with others for the greater glory of God.

ACT OF CONSECRATION TO ST. JOSEPH On this day, before the great multitude of heavenly witnesses, I, _________, a repentant sinner, consecrate myself, body and soul, to you, St. Joseph.

I turn to you as my spiritual father and place my life and my salvation into your hands. Confident in your good- ness, I place myself under your paternal clock and ask you to protect me from the world, the flesh, and the devil.

Saint Joseph, you are the virginal husband of the Mother of God!

Help me to love her with tender affection and filial devotion. Mary is my spiritual mother and the surest, fastest, and easiest way to Jesus.

Keep me close to her and, together with her, bring me closer to Jesus.

Never depart from me, St. Joseph. Nourish me with the Bread of Life, instruct me in the wisdom of the saints, help me carry my cross, and keep me always in the Catholic Church. When I die, take me to the Kingdom of Heaven to see Jesus and Mary.

From this day onward, I will never forget you. I will speak of you often, spend time with you in prayer and, with your help, earnestly strive to sin no more. Should I fall, help me to repent and go to Con- fession. Should I go astray, guide me back to the truth.

Before heaven and earth, my soul cries out: Praise to the Holy Trini- ty who has made you prince over all their possessions! Praise to the Virgin Mary who loves you and longs to see you loved! Praise to you, my spiritual father, the great St. Joseph! I give everything to you, St.

Joseph. Take me as your own. I am yours. Amen!

SACRED RELICS OF THE SAINTS (Treasures of the Church) Treasures of the Church ministry provides people with an opportunity to experience God through an encounter with the relics of His saints in the form of exposition. Each exposition includes a presentation on each relic as well as the opportunity to venerate the relics. The veneration is a communion with the heroes of our Christian faith.

The relics include: St. Maria Goretti, St. Therese of Lisieux ( the Little Flower), St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, St.

Thomas Aquinas and St. Faustina Kowalska. The highlight is a relic of the True Cross, and a piece of the Veil, that according to tradition, is believed to have belonged to Our Lady.

Sacred Heart Parish in Webster is proud to host this amazing presentation on Nov 28 at 2pm inside the church. Followed by an exposition of the Sacred Relics at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall located at 11 Day St, Webster MA.

All are welcome!

Today’s second collection supports the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. Currently 38 million people in the United States live in poverty. This collection funds programs that empow- er local communities to address the challenges they face. The Cath- olic Campaign for Human Development supports those living in poverty across the country. It identifies and addresses the unique obstacles people face as they work to lift themselves out of pov- erty. In addition, 25% of the funds we collect remain in our diocese to fund local anti-poverty projects. By supporting this collection, you are giving those on the margins a hand up, not a handout.

Thank you for your support..

UROCZYSTOŚĆ JEZUSA CHRYSTUSA KRÓLA WSZECHŚWIATA 21 listopada 2021

„Królestwo moje nie jest z tego świata.” ( J 18, 36)

Mark your calendars!

#GivingTuesday is November 30th

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social me- dia and collaboration. It is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. After Black Friday and Cyber Mon- day, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charita- ble season when many focus on their holi- day & end of year gifts.

We greatly appreciate your continued support!

Z racji obchodów Dnia Dziękczynienia, w dniach 25 i 26 listopada, zarówno szkoła jak i biuro parafialne będą zamknięte.

THANKSGIVING

One of the most amazing days of the year is ahead of us. We call it Thanksgiving Day. Each holiday has its own distinctive elements. What are the characteristics of Thanksgiving? We can certainly list many different symbols that we associate with this holiday, beginning with a festive dinner and roasted turkey. This solemn day, however, it is not only about a family gathering and time spent together at the table that is set in abundance. The most im- portant and characteristic element of this day is a special prayer, which can be expressed in two words: "thank you".

Dear parishioners, today, I too, would like to say words of this unique prayer. I thank God for you who create and shape the community of the Church in our parish. I thank you for your time spent in serving God on your knees in the temple and at your homes, and for serving your neighbor with an open heart and an outstretched helpful hand. Thank you for looking for the presence of the Lord and for listening to His Word. Thank you for not losing sight of eternity in the daily difficulties and joys of life. I wish you all a blessed and joyful Thanksgiving. - Fr. Gregory

Saint Joseph School is launching its 2021-2022 Annual Fund Drive

12:30-13:00 Rada Parafialna i Rycerze Kolumba 13:00-13:30 Sacred Heart Society

13:30-14:00 Holy Rosary Sodality 14:00-14:30 St. Ann Society

14:30-15:00 Szafarzy Eucharystji i Dzieci Maryi. Zakoń- czenie adoracji o godz. 15:00 Koronką do Miłosierdzia Bo- żego.

DZIĘKCZYNIENIE

Przed nami jeden z najbardziej niezwykłych dni w ciągu roku. Nazywamy go Świętem Dziękczynie- nia.

Dziękuję Bogu za Was, którzy tworzycie i kształtujecie wspólnotę Kościoła w naszej parafii.

Życzę Wam Wszystkim błogosławionego i radosnego Święta Dziękczynienia. – Ks. Grzegorz

Pomóż mi trwać blisko niej i razem z nią przybliżaj mnie do Jezusa.

Nigdy nie odchodź ode mnie, św. Józefie. Karm mnie Chlebem Życia, ucz mądrości świętych, pomóż mi nieść mój krzyż i pomóż mi wytrwać zawsze w Kościele katolickim.

Kiedy umrę, zabierz mnie do Królestwa Niebieskiego, abym zobaczyła Jezusa i Maryję.
