MyDHL Registration and Login Page
DHL online Shipping is accessed via MyDHL. MyDHL provides quick and easy access to our full suite of online shipping and tracking tools, plus e-Billing, with just one single login. Have your DHL Express number to hand and follow these simple steps to register.
You will need your dhl account number (beginning 13 or 18) to register on Mydhl and access dhl Online Shipping.
Select United Kingdom from the country list and click
Register for MyDHL
Remember to bookmark www.dhl.com/mydhl for speedier access in future!
complete the Mydhl registration form.
Enter your company information.
Enter your personal information and select a User Id and password for Mydhl.
Select ‘I have one or more dhl account numbers’ and enter your account number(s).
Select the option ‘I am not currently using any dhl tools. Please select tools for me.’
Review and accept dhl’s terms & conditions of carriage and Privacy Policy.

After logging into MyDHL, click the DHL online Shipping link either from the Ship menu on the top navigation or the Mydhl Status page.

Adding Existing Tool Logins to MyDHL
Already using DHL Online Shipping?
Existing users of online Shipping, or any of our other online tools, can register on MyDHL and enter their existing login details.
• As you complete your registration details, select ‘I have one or more dhl account numbers’ and enter your account number(s).
• Select the option ‘I already use DHL tools.’
• Select the tools you use and enter your existing login details.
• once you have completed registration, simply log into Mydhl to access your online tools.
If this is your first visit to dhl Online Shipping, go to the My Profile tab (page 19) and check that your details are correct.
In My Profile, you can also specify default shipment and pickup settings to save time each time you ship.

1. StARt ShIPPING
on the Start Shipping tab, ensure that the
‘Ship From’ address is correct for this shipment.
Use the drop-down list or ‘open Address Book’
link to quickly select a different shipper address from your Address Book.
Select ‘change Shipping location’ to add a new Shipper address (see page 9 for details).
Select a previously saved receiver from the
‘Select Nickname’ list or by clicking the ‘Open Address Book’ link.
If the receiver is new, click ‘Ship to a New Receiver’ to go to the Address details page (see page 9 for details).
Select the Shipping date and click
Start Shipping
Now go to page 10 for instructions on completing the shipment details.
From the Recent Shipments section, you can quickly:
• View and copy previous shipments
• Track your shipments
• Search your Shipment History
To enter new address details, complete the Shipper and Receiver Details, as required.

2. AddRESS dEtAIlS
If you wish to save addresses for future use, remember to tick ‘Save to Address Book’ at the bottom of the page.
You can also import your own address books into dhl Online Shipping.
See page 18 for details.
3. ShIPMENt dEtAIlS
For destinations outside the EU, indicate whether the shipment is Document or Non-Document.
Select whether to create your customs invoice using DHL online Shipping. We recommend this option to save you time.

For each piece in your shipment, enter the weight and dimensions and click

Although a declared Value is only required for dutiable shipments, if you wish to insure your shipment, whether dutiable or not, you must enter a value for insurance. this will enable you to select the insurance option on the Service Options page.
Enter the description of contents for the shipment.
Enter a Shipper’s Reference of your choice, as required. This is your own reference, such as a cost centre.
check the Payment Options are correct. You can select who the shipment will be billed to and, for Non-Document shipments, who will pay any duties and taxes levied by customs.

If you select ‘dhl card Envelope 1’ as your Packaging Type, the dimensions are automatically populated.
Only one Packaging type can be used per shipment.
To check if your shipment is dutiable, click the ‘help me decide if my shipment is dutiable or not’ link.
Typically non-dutiable shipments are documents of no commercial value.
If your shipment is Non-Document (dutiable), you must enter a Declared Value and create a customs invoice.

4. cREAtE A cUStOMS INVOIcE
If your shipment is Non-Document (dutiable) and you chose to create an invoice using dhl Online Shipping, complete the details on this page.
Select an invoice type from the drop-down menu and enter the required information.
Enter your commodity information and click . If you are sending multiple commodities, provide details of each item separately.

A Proforma Invoice should used if you are sending a non-commercial shipment for non-business purposes, such as a sample, faulty item or personal gift.
A commercial Invoice should be used for all commercial shipments with a commercial value.
Further information on completing the invoice can be found in the on-screen help menu.
5. SERVIcE OPtIONS
Select the express service you wish to use, taking note of the latest booking and pickup times for your address.
Use the Email Notifications section to send shipment pre alerts to the receiver or other interested parties.

If you do not want to check your shipment details before the shipment is processed, untick ‘I would like view the Shipment Summary page’.F

To arrange a courier collection, ensure that the
‘Schedule a Pickup’ box is ticked. This is located in the Extra Service options section.
If you wish to insure your shipment, you must enter the value for insurance on the Shipment details page (see page 10 for details). then simply tick the insurance box to insure your shipment.
Service Options
If Saturday delivery is available to the receiver’s address, the option will be displayed in the Extra Service options section.
However, Saturday Delivery should only be selected when the ‘delivery By’ date would otherwise be a Monday.
When this box is ticked, the Schedule Pickup section below is enabled. check the details and amend as required. Tick ‘Use a different pickup address?’ to change the pickup address.
You pickup request will be submitted when your shipment is processed.
6. ShIPMENt SUMMARY
click to process your shipment and submit your pickup request (if selected).
Ensure the details of your shipment are correct.
If you need to change any information, you can go back to the previous pages by clicking
or by using the navigation links at the top of the page.
Shipment Summary
this page is only displayed if you selected to view the Shipment Summary on the Service Options page.
Print Shipment Paperwork
Pickup Confirmation
All available paperwork is automatically selected for printing. If you wish to print the documents individually, you can select which documents to print and the number of copies.

If you requested a pickup, the Booking Reference is displayed at the top of the page.
7. PRINt PAPERWoRK / PIcKUP cONFIRMAtION
If you have arranged a pickup from a different address, use the
option to generate the paperwork in PdF format. then email the PdF to the pickup location so that the paperwork can be printed for the courier.
The Next button is disabled ( ) until the paperwork has been printed.
If the pickup request was not successful, the Schedule Pickup window will open. check the error message and correct the problem if you can. If the error persists, you have the option to ‘Skip Pickup’.
You can try again later using the Schedule Pickup tab (see page 16). Alternatively, you can call customer Service to make your booking.

this section will introduce you to some handy features to help you with
your everyday shipping process. Find out how to get a rate quote, track
your shipments, search your shipment history, build your address book and
maintain your profile.
Schedule a Pickup
This option is provided as an alternative to requesting a pickup as you prepare a shipment. (See page 14 for details). Multiple shipments can be picked up at one time; you do not need to arrange a collection for each shipment.
To get a price estimate, enter the required Ship From, Ship to and Package details.
For a breakdown of the charges, click on the price or
‘Get charge details’.

the pickup information displayed are the details you entered during registration, but you can change the pickup address if required.
If you schedule your pickup as you prepare a shipment, you do not need to arrange another pickup from this page.

Enter key words into the ‘Find’ field to search for a particular shipment.
Shipment History/Tracking

You can view, manage and track your shipments, check pickup details, and even download a spreadsheet of your shipments from Shipment history.
the Shipment history feature offers a number of ways to search and sort your shipments. Shipment records are stored for 99 days.
on the Shipment History page, as well as the Start Shipping tab, you can click
to save time when sending the same shipment again.
When you copy a shipment you are able to edit previously entered details, as required.
You can narrow your search by selecting a filter, such as Shipper’s Reference, from the ‘contained in column’
drop-down list.
You can also refine your search by changing the number of previous shipping days to be included.
Sorting Shipment History
You can also sort your shipments by clicking on any of the red column headings – click once to arrange information in ascending order and twice for descending order.

the Address Book stores both sender and receiver information, allowing you to prepare shipments without repeatedly entering the same contact information.

Address Book Functions
• Add new addresses to the Address Book directly or as you prepare a shipment.
• Edit, copy and delete an existing address - tick the box next to the relevant Nickname and then select the appropriate action button.
• Delete multiple addresses - tick the boxes next to the contacts you want to delete or click ‘Select All Records’ to delete the whole Address Book.
• Download your Address Book into an Excel spreadsheet.
• Ship to a existing address.
Address books can be imported into dhl Online Shipping by uploading comma delimited (cSV) files.
To import your own address books, click at the bottom of the address list.
• Select whether you want to import Shipper or Receiver addresses.
• Indicate whether the file to be imported has headers, attach file, and click
• Match the DHL online Shipping field names with those of the cSV file to be imported.

• You will receive a an email confirming whether the import was successful or not.
Searching the Address Book

You can narrow your search by selecting a filter, such as contact or company, from the ‘contained in column’ drop-down list.
When importing an address book, the maximum cSV file size that can be uploaded at one time is 500KB.
DHL Online Shipping holds a maximum of 2000 addresses – shipper and receiver combined.

MY PROFIlE
From My Profile you can change any of your default settings, such as shipper details, shipment and pickup settings.
After updating your details, click to save your changes.
