Mission Statement:
We, as the Church, are the Body of Christ equipped through prayer by the Holy Spirit to glorify God; through passionate worship, nurturing fellowship, sacrificial service, respectful evangelism, and active discipleship, we encourage and challenge all ages of our congregation and community to grow in relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Preparation for Worship John Ortberg
Some of the greatest prayers are the ones that never get answered the way we want. Some of the greatest doors are those that never get opened.
Welcome
Call to Worship Praise the Lord!
The Lord’s name be praised!
Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!
§ Processional Hymn 196 All Glory, Laud, and Honor valet will ich dir geben
Introit Prepare the Way of the Lord William Rowan
Prepare the way! Make straight his path. Every valley shall be exalted, every hill made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all mankind shall see it together. Prayer of Confession
Eternal God, in Jesus Christ you entered Jerusalem to shouts of praise and hosanna, but the praises soon turned to jeers. We confess that our faith also is prone to fade. Our enthusiasm dies out, and our hopes are paraded but not pursued.
Lord, have mercy upon us in our failures, and help us to be constant and dependable in your service even as you are constant and dependable in your love for us, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon
Friends, believe the good news of the Gospel! In Jesus Christ we are forgiven! § The Gloria Patri
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
§ Passing the Peace Greet those around you with, “The peace of Christ be with you.”
§ Hymn 197 Hosanna, Loud Hosanna Ellacombe
Community Joys and Events
The palms are given to the glory of God.

Q. 27. What does Christ’s humiliation consist of?
A. Christ’s humiliation consists of his being born into a low condition under the law, undergoing the miseries of this life, the wrath of God, and the cursed death of the cross;
being buried, and continuing under the power of death for a time. Q. 28. What does Christ’s exaltation consist of?
A. Christ’s exaltation consists of his rising again from the dead on the third day, ascending up into heaven, sitting at the right hand of God the Father,
and coming to judge the world at the last day.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
