If you are a former Covenant Bank Internet Banking user, please note that the deadline to schedule new transfers in your former Covenant Bank Internet Banking profile is 8 a.m. on March 15. Make sure your internet browser

is up to date before using Planters Bank’s online banking.

Your transition to Planters Bank Internet Banking will be simple and seamless. Below are detailed instructions to help you log in for the first time.

Your First Login

Unless you have heard otherwise from us, your Internet Banking username will remain the same.

The first time you log in to Planters Bank Internet Banking on or after March 21, you will need to verify your identity with a Secure Access Code and create a new password. A Secure Access Code is a one-time use code that allows you to authenticate your identity and securely log in to Internet Banking. We will deliver your unique Secure Access Code to you instantly via email, phone call or SMS based text based on the information you have on file with us. Please follow these steps for your first-time login:

1. Navigate to www.planters-bank.com and locate the Internet Banking Login box (see Fig. 1)

2. Input your current username in the field provided and leave the password field blank.

3. Check the box for “First Time Login” and press LOG IN. 4. Choose how you prefer to receive your one-time Secure Access Code-via email, phone or SMS text message-and click SUBMIT (see Fig. 2). Please note: If your contact information is not date, please contact us at 662-884-1199 to provide updated information.

5. Once you receive your Secure Access Code, enter it in the field provided. Click SUBMIT. (see Fig. 3).

6. Finally, you will be prompted to update your profile and create a new password.

Please note that the next time you log in you should use your new password, and you will be prompted to register your computer. If you are using a private computer, you can choose “activate my computer for future use” which authorizes us to store a security certificate on your computer and will eliminate the need to use a Secure Access Code during each login. If you are using a public computer, for security purposes don’t activate the computer for

future use. You will only need to enter a Secure Access Code when you use a different computer to log in or if you delete the security

certificate or “cookie’ that we’ve stored on your computer. As a reminder, never share your username or password with anyone.

Personal Checking

Based on your former Covenant Bank checking account type and your recent transaction and balance history, we have done our best to recommend the Planters Bank personal checking account that we think best suits you. Please refer to the table below for the specific Planters Bank checking account type(s) recommended to replace your former Covenant Bank checking account(s).

Below you will find a chart with details on the seven distinctive Planters Bank personal checking account options available to you. You are free to select the account that best matches your personal style and individual needs. If you prefer to choose a different account type than the one we have recommended, just let us know. Stop by any Planters Bank branch so we can make any changes for you.

DDA Reclassification Change in Terms Notice

Your checking account will become a master deposit account which will consist of two sub accounts: a transaction account and a non-transaction account. The maintenance of the two sub-accounts and the transfer between them as described below is for the purpose of improving our efficiency and will have no effect on your account or your ability to use it. The amount of interest you earn (if your account is interest bearing), the amount of charges you incur (if any), and your monthly checking statement will not be affected. We will maintain separate information on each sub-account for regulatory purposes, but information reported to you will be consolidated.

At the beginning of each month we will allocate the balance in your account between the two sub-accounts based on an allocation formula which we may change from time to time. All checks, withdrawals, debits and other charges against your account will be presented against the funds in your transaction account. If additional funds are needed to cover your transactions, we will automatically transfer, without charge, available funds in your non-transaction sub-account to your transaction account. If excess funds accumulate in the transaction account, we may automatically transfer funds to the non-transaction sub-account. Federal regulations limit preauthorize transfers from your non-transaction account to six during a monthly statement period. Upon the sixth transfer from the non-transaction account to the transaction account during a monthly statement period, the entire balance in the non-transaction account will be transferred to the transaction sub-account for the remainder of the statement period. At all times, the combined collected balance in the two sub-accounts will be available to pay items presented for payment.

Planters Bank offers two options for overdraft coverage that may be different than the overdraft coverage you are used to with the former Covenant Bank. Please review the following information for important details about your overdraft options. If you are currently opted in for overdraft coverage, you will continue to be opted in after the conversion.

What is an overdraft?

An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but the bank pays the transaction on your behalf.

What are my overdraft options?

We can cover your overdrafts in two different ways:

RWe offer overdraft protection transfers. If your account is overdrawn, funds can automatically be transferred from a linked savings account or personal line of credit. There is no charge to sign up for overdraft protection transfers, and you’ll only pay for it if you use it.

RWe offer Discretionary Overdraft Privilege Service (ODP). ODP is designed to be a safety net for customers who occasionally overdraw their account. The product is automatically added to new customer accounts if qualifications are met. Customers have the option to opt out of the product. To obtain and maintain the privilege, the following parameters must be met:

R)/(.5'/-.55)*(5

),5'),5."(5ii53-5 5

R*)-#.5.5&-.5qiff50,35ii53-5 5 R)/(.5(().55)0,,1(5 ),5'),5."(5ii53-8

5 5 R,#',35)1(,5'/-.55.5&-.5hg53,-5)&8

What fees will be charged if Planters Bank pays my overdraft?

We will charge you a fee of $35 each time we pay an overdraft item. You will be charged for no more than 7 overdraft fees or NSF item fees per day.
