The SVCC Team
the SVCC works closely with faculty and our business partners to develop relevant curriculum that addresses the needs of the business community. both the Mba and undergraduate programs provide a strategic and integrated view of supply chain management, coupled with hands-on, real-world learning experiences that help students develop important skills that ensure they are competitive.
Academic Programs
MBA students can complete a Certificate in Supply and Value
Chain Management as a part of their curriculum. the Certificate requirements include 18 hours of supply chain coursework and an internship in the supply chain management field.
Undergraduate students can pursue a major in supply and value
chain management, which requires 21 hours of major coursework in addition to the core Supply Chain Concepts course.
Experiential Learning
Students have the opportunity to work with companies in a “consulting” capacity to address specific supply chain problems. Mba students have completed projects for organizations such as alcon, frito-lay, bell helicopter, and tarrant area food bank. a small number of undergraduate seniors are selected to participate in the Student executive program, working within a company to gain cross-functional experience and supply chain mapping, analysis and problem-solving skills.
