approve the budget adjustment to reappropriate funding for the District Court line items to include the needs of the County Criminal Courts, as well. The laptop budget line item for District Courts is reduced from $144,000.00 to $65,600.00 (due to fewer laptops that are needed). This leaves $78,400.00 that is being reallocated; of this amount, $12,000.00 is being transferred to the
equipment (less than $5,000.00) line item to increase this line item from $3,000.00 to $15,000.00. The remaining $66,400.00 is being transferred to the PPE line item for District & County Criminal Courts to increase this amount from $13,264.59 to $79,664.59 to address the needs of both courts. The amounts for other departments in this grant remain unchanged. The total budget for the grant also remains unchanged from the original $3,541,223.83. The Commissioners Court also
authorizes the County Judge to sign all related documents.
