Building our Church
Sharing our Faith
Growing our Community
“The whole Israelite community grumbled against Moses and Aaron...But Moses told them, this is the bread that the Lord has given you to eat.” (Ex 16:2, 15) Hopefully we are all not
grumbling, but if we are, know that the Lord, our God, leads us and provides for us. Trust in Him. The Lord provided several excellent firms to help us design and build a new dwelling place for Him, and He has guided us to a decision, approved by Bishop Rice, to contract with Baker Architects for the design and BSI Constructors for the Construction Management.
BSI is a firm located in St. Louis, who specializes in pre- construction services and has significant experience managing and performing Catholic Church construction projects. They will subcontract all the construction to local contractors, in small and large construction packages, so local contractors and suppliers will build this church.
Baker Architects is in Erie, CO, and performs design work solely on Catholic Churches. The owner and principal architect, Steven Baker, has advanced degrees in Sacred Architecture and has dedicated his business entirely to working for the Catholic Church in designing fitting dwelling places of worship. As soon as contracts are executed, we will pick up where we left off with the original design concept, update it, and explore in some detail the possible re-use of the existing church for those elements of our master plan previously planned for a future Phase II.
“Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life;” (John 6:35)

DDF REPORT...To date our parish has given $89,758 toward our $94,096 goal. Thank you! If you have not yet made your pledge, please add your gift, whatever the amount, to further the Church in southern Missouri. Across the diocese, as of July 23, 2021, $2,526,861 has been pledged toward the $2,650,000 goal. That is 95% of our goal. The diocese thanks you for considering a gift to support diocesan ministries which support your parish, as well. No gift is too big or too small. A one-time gift of $20, $50, or $100 helps Bishop Rice’s ministry. Please continue to pray for the success of the DDF.
St. Ann's Sodality is doing a deep cleaning of IC church on Saturday, August 7, 2021, starting at 9:00am until we finish (usually around 1 pm). Any ladies of our parish are welcome to come help. We will have some cleaning supplies available, but feel free to bring your own as well! Upper grade school and high school students are welcome to come help if they need service hours ~ many hands make light work! Questions ~ contact Ruth Ann Hester at 573-270-4844.
UPDATE ON RECORDING MASS: Our camera in Church is up and running! We will record 5:00pm Mass each Saturday and post to Immaculate Conception Church's YouTube page.
