Cloud Vision: Overview

NTT Com launched its Global Cloud Vision in 2011 as a blueprint for

expanding ICT services worldwide. The plan has two key strategies:

Globally deploy comprehensive cloud services by differentiating

NTT Com’s know-how and experience as a telecom carrier.

Combine NTT Com’s special strengths, including networks and

data centers, with servers and applications on an end-to-end,

one-stop basis.

NTT Com is helping customers expand their multinational

businesses by offering them a growing lineup of seamless available

services, including BizCITY and Arcstar Unified Communications

Services.

The company backs up these services by ongoing investment in its

networks and data centers, especially in Asia. In addition, it offers

high-quality, 24/7 security management via security centers

worldwide, and will launch a mission-critical virtualized network in

Biz Mail and Biz Storage

Biz Mail

NTT Com's cloud-based email service offers security equal to that of

conventional corporate email systems and can be adapted flexibly to the

corporate security policies. Robust storage of up to 10GB per ID is available for

special needs. Email accounts and address books in conventional corporate

systems can be incorporated. Many features are similar to those of popular mail

software, and mashups provide extended functionality for email and briefcase.

Interfaces come in16 languages, and in mobile versions.

Biz Storage

Biz Storage provides customers with network access to NTT Com's data-center

file servers for storage capacity ranging from 100 gigabytes to 10 terabytes,

available in 100-gigabyte increments. In addition to compatibility with

Microsoft® Active Directory® for authentication, the service offers backup and

other functions normally associated with full-scale corporate file servers. Easy

storage and retrieval of ever-increasing business data, graphics and other data

are possible at low monthly charges for this service.

Biz Security

Biz Security Vulnerability Management

This cloud-based solution, offered through NTT Com’s advanced Security Operation Center(SOC), is for continuous vulnerability scans and risk management for network equipment, servers and other IT resources. The basic system comprises NTT Com's cloud platform and QualysGuard®, a remote vulnerability-audit software provided by Qualys®, a leading company of on-demand IT security risk and policy compliance management solutions. The system can be accessed through any NTT Com’s virtual private network services, ensuring a highly secure communication

environment that bypasses the Internet.

Biz Security Global Management

With this managed security service from NTT Com and subsidiary Integralis, customers quickly establish seamless global security-management systems for secure, real-time protection of their enterprise networks. The service, targeted primarily at Japanese companies operating global businesses, frees customers from the costly and complicated burdens of assembling professional

security personnel and systems, constantly monitoring and

analyzing security threats, updating security systems on a daily basis, and maintaining unified security levels throughout global networks.

NTT Com's Security Operation Center (SOC) is operated by security engineers 24/7 to provide customers with high-quality security worldwide, backed with multilingual support. The center must analyze and prevent threats from all angles, aiming to proactively

minimize risk everywhere possible in the customer's ICT environment.

For each customer, a security expert is placed in charge of security management and is dispatched to the customer's premises. Rather than merely overseeing network security, the SM becomes personally involved in preventing problems and providing advice and solutions. Each month they prepare a report about their customer's system operation, including any failure.

Office PC desktops can be accessed with confidence from anywhere via VPN.

Robust security also is assured with encrypted access via the Internet using

secure stock layer (SSL) and remote desktop protocol (RDP), as well as dedicated USB keys and passwords.

Biz Marketing Visionalist

An analytic tool to help retailers visualize the status of access to their website. By analyzing access logs, the retailer can easily determine each customer’s route to their site, movements within the site and time away from the site. Retailers can use the tool for cyclical Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) activities to continually upgrade their websites.

Biz Marketing Smart Recommend

Retailers use this tool to recommend specific products and services based on a customer’s past behavior when visiting their website. Recommendations are structured to effectively improve website sales and strengthen visitor satisfaction by meeting their needs.

CoTweet is a solution that enables retailers to engage customers effectively through social media. Biz Marketing Buzz Finder monitors social media such as Twitter, blogs and search sites to collect and analyze both positive and negative comments about specific corporate brands, merchandise and service. Data Centers: Inter-Data Center Connectivity Service

NTT Com's Inter-Data Center Connectivity Service enables enterprises to quickly establish

seamless connectivity between core data centers for data backup, application delivery and

disaster recovery across the Asia-Pacific region. The service, part of a major new strategy to

expand business in the fast-growing Asian region, utilizes NTT Com's large-capacity backbone for

high-speed, rack-to-rack connectivity between core data centers in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore
