He spent 17 years as a politician serving in a variety of departments: tourism, finance, health and women leadership. His efforts gained him a reputation for entrepreneurial and innovative ideas. Ms. Maria Eugenia is Executive Director for IE Business School Premium and Prestige Business Observatory. She is an entrepreneur with over 18 years experience in luxury goods retailing; has successfully led and operated business and brand turnaround and has advised numerous luxury companies on strategic development.

Dr. Paris de l’Etraz, Ph.D., is Managing Director of the Venture Lab Accelerator at IE Business School. His career spans over 20 years in investment banking and venture capital prior to entering academia. Since 2005, he has continued in the business of raising capital, establishing new companies, and selling or buying them through his group Amazing Lab.
