Microsoft Access Introduction

SSA400: Two Days; Instructorled

Aims

Access is an exciting new database management system from Microsoft designed specifically for a modern graphical environment. The SureSkills.Com Introduction Access course is designed to quickly develop the fundamental skills required to start using Access to a level of competence sufficient for participants to design and construct their own database applications; to be able to view data, extract information and to generate reports.

It is important to note that here at SureSkills the course starts from first principles and leads through the use of the Access package itself but also through the vital database design activities necessary before the construction activity can begin.

Audience

New, recent or intended users of Microsoft Access who have little or no existing database knowledge. The focus of the course is more for those who will be designing and constructing the database rather than those who will be using the developing system.

Prerequisites

A working knowledge of PC’S, Windows and a mouse is assumed. Course Outline
