ANNUAL WESTERN ART SHOW & SALE

2015 PROSPECTUS & ENTRY FORM

SUBMISSION INFORMATION: ORIGINAL ART ONLY! No entries in ANY division can have

been entered in a previous RBBS Western Art Show. All entries must be done by a single artist,

signed and dated by said artist (may be on back of entry). All entries MUST BE FOR SALE and

priced by the artist.

All entries must depict the “Traditional” Western Ranch or Native American lifestyle with

horses, cattle, stock dogs or wildlife found on a cattle or horse ranch.

Entry form must be typed or printed legibly and submitted with a quality digital or PDF

image, which MAY be shown on the RBBS FACEBOOK page.

Entry must be accompanied

by a fully completed Entry Form, entry fees, and a typed, one-page biography. Submission of

entry constitutes an agreement to all terms and conditions of Prospectus, including permission

for reproduction of artwork for publication, advertising, etc.

ENTRY FEE: $50.00 per entry. ($20.00 of entry fee will be refunded to artist for

each piece SOLD).

• Artists with a vendor space in the RBBS Trade Show may submit 2 Art Show entries at no additional

charge. Vendor entries must be delivered by 2:00 p.m, TUESDAY, Jan. 27, 2015, in order to be judged. Prints or copies of Art Show entries may not be sold in trade show booth or anywhere else at RBBS event. Entries must be originals.

 COMMISSION: 20% of Sale Price of entry, before taxes.

No refunds for accepted entries for any reason

Entries will be Juried in by a Red Bluff Bull Sale committee. Accepted Entries will be

judged by a Professional in each division.

UPON ACCEPTANCE,

entries must be delivered before 5:00 p.m., January 23, 2015. Entries must be in a protective case, mailing box or bubble-wrapped with NAME and CONTACT INFORMATION clearly marked on

outside of box to: RED BLUFF BULL SALE ART SHOW – 670 Antelope Blvd., Suite 3, Red Bluff, CA. 96080 2014. All entries must be framed and ready to hang with hanging wire. NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS.

2015 - OPEN DIVISIONS:

PAINTING: Oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolors. ORIGINALS ONLY. Framed size not

to exceed 48” in any direction. No sawtooth hangers – wire only.

DRAWING: Pencil, colored pencil, graphite, pen/ink, and charcoal. ORIGINALS ONLY.

Framed size not to exceed 48” in any direction. No sawtooth hangers – wire only.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Framed size not to exceed 48” in any direction. No sawtooth hangers.

SCULPTURE: Bronzes, wooden carvings and 3 dimensional metal art.

LEATHERWORK: Tooled or Braided. Judged upon quality and correctness of item.

Attached silverwork will not be judged or considered in judging. Bits may not be attached

to headstalls. Tooled chinks or chaps may be entered in this division.

SILVER ENGRAVING: Engraved bits, spurs, buckles, jewelry and conchos. Not attached

to any leatherwork.

WORKING GEAR: Knives, metal gear, spurs, chinks, chaps, cinches, mecates.

All entries must be signed and dated (may be on back). A Certificate of Authenticity may increase value to buyers or collectors and should be attached to back of entry

Artists are not required to attend the RBBS Western Art Show. However, those attending the ARTIST RECEPTION on Thursday evening will receive 2 complimentary, Souvenir wine glasses! We hope to see you there!

INSURANCE: Red Bluff Bull Sale recommends that all entries be insured. Red Bluff Bull Sale will not be responsible for

damage or loss from any cause.

ABANDONED ENTRIES: Any entry that remains unclaimed by either the artist or buyer by 6pm, March 31, 2015, will become the property of

the Red Bluff Bull Sale and will be donated to the RBBS Youth Activities Raffle the following year.
