onmouth University’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program prepares nurses for the advanced nursing roles of educator, administrator, and practitioner. Our nursing faculty members believe that education at the master’s degree level is essential to provide the student with a broad knowledge base and a concentration in a selected area of specialization; develop justifiable confidence and proficiency necessary for advanced nursing practice;

and realize full potential through the development of autonomy, leadership, and professionalism.

“I can teach at a college or university or I could easily go on to my doctorate with this degree. I chose Monmouth University because I like the way the classes are structured for the program: you can be either entirely in a traditional classroom experience, you can take classes that are entirely online, or you can be in a hybrid class. And I love the location— Monmouth University is situated in central New Jersey, so I’ve been able to network with nurses from all over the state.”
