Overview of the New LMS

The new LMS, just like the previous system, allows you to:

 Find learning courses

 Access and complete courses

Overview of the New LMS

Once logged onto Health Net’s LMS, your home page will

display 5 sections or tiles:

 My Learning Assignments  My Curricula*

 History  Links

 Find Learning

This course will discuss each section in more detail

TIP: You can navigate the new LMS system by using the “Previous” and “Next” buttons or clicking on the tabs you intend to use. Using your browser’s arrow to navigate the pages will log you out of the LMS system

Launching Assigned Courses

The “My Learning

Assignments“ home page displays all courses assigned to you and courses you

selected to complete. The page contains important information such as:

 Course Title

 Course Number

 Course Description

 Course Type (Online or

Instructor driven)

 Curriculum (if the course is

part of a series)

 Course completion tracker

 Required or optional course

More About Assigned Courses – Sorting

You can sort your course assignments by date. Select “Date” on the top panel and your courses will be displayed in

chronological order.

Courses can have one of the following statuses:

 Overdue

 Due in 60 days

 Due Later

 No Due Date

compliance training courses will be bundled up as a sub-curricula here

 Simple catalog search -where you can enter keywords in the search box

 Browse all courses and use filters to look for courses by category, subject area, source and delivery method

Insert a keyword into the Search box and click Go You can also do a search by

clicking the “Browse All Courses” if you’re not certain of the keyword

Searching the Course Catalog

Once you have entered a keyword or simply chosen to browse all courses, you will see this new screen with a number of filters on the left side

These filters will allow you to narrow your search results by: 1. Category 2. Subject Area 3. Delivery Method

You can decide how many courses can be viewed per page

Registering for a Course

Once you have found the course you need, you can register for that course by clicking on “Add to Learning Plan” to take the course at a later time or “Start Course” to begin the training immediately

Accessing Your Transcripts

The “History” tile will provide a list of all the courses you have completed. The number in the middle is the number of recently completed courses

Click View all to see course history list

More About Accessing Your Learning History

 The course history list provides you with the completion date, title of the course and the course status

 The “Show Completions” field provides you with drop down choices based on a completion date

 If you are looking for a specific course in your transcript, you may enter the title in the Search field

 You may also select the Status field to search for your transcripts by status

Other New Features

The “Links” tile allows you to access commonly used processes such as FAQs, record learning, and access reports. Simply click on the desired link

“Approvals” link applies only to those who have access to approve learning or have direct reports

Frequently Asked Questions can be viewed by clicking on the “FAQs”
