“Faith in Education”
Dear Parents, Families and Friends,
The summer months bring with it many exciting adventures. Our child care friends are keeping busy with walks, water play and many interesting activities. The children have had lots of other fun activities, and whether they realize it or not, these activities have provided great learning
opportunities during the summer months!
The children and teachers are taking advantage of our wonderful summer weather by spending many hours outdoors, playing and exploring. We look forward to enjoying the rest of the summer.
We hope that you are also enjoying these fabulous days with family and friends!
We thank you for your continued support and cooperation during the summer months. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Amy Faust, Director
Revel in Summer
Dear God, Let us revel in summer.
Let us soak up the long days and warm sun.
May our feet walk on sandy beaches and our heads rest on thick grass under blue skies.
May we listen to and marvel at the singing of the birds and stop to watch blissful children at play
This summer, God, may our breathing slow and our hearts open. God help us to be present to all that is so that we might best see all that might be

We have had a very busy summer learning all about Construction, Pirates, The Wild West, Sports, The Beach, and The Fair, and lots more. We are reviewing our numbers and letters this summer and continue to get ready for Kindergarten. We are excited and the count down has started.
We plan to go to the fair in August to see the animals watch for a permission slip coming soon.
Please have a swimsuit, towel, and shoes that can get wet here every day for water play. If it is nice out we will play in the water. Also, please have a change of clothes here for your child as accidents do happen.

We can’t believe how fast this summer is going!
In June we learned all about building with blocks and we went on a treasure hunt during Pirate week. We also learned about Castles, Kings and Queens.
In July we will be looking at and exploring 4th of July, The Wild West, Sports, and The Olympics.
In August we will visit the fair, do some Movin and
Groovin and have a Beach Party with our themes.
We will be taking walks to the park as well as doing water play. Please bring a swim suit and a towel as well as closed toed shoes for walks and the play- ground. I will try to remind families when we have water play planned but, weather in Wisconsin is nev- er the same each day, so we may decide to go on any day.
Thank you
