Positioning
The MAXDATA PLATINUM Server-Racks are particularly made for the MAXDATA PLATINUM server series. This results in the customer saving time and effort when installing components. Of course the devices from other manufacturers can installed, when they uses the MAXDATA standard 19” rack mounting.
The rack base is equipped with 4 wheels with which the rack can be moved problem free. It also has a withdrawable tilt protector which enables rack components to be safely withdrawn preventing the rack from toppling over. This can withstand a maximum weight of 600 KG. On the four corners are unscrewable levelling feet which provide a stable, level rack on uneven floor surfaces.The rack has been designed in such a way that no additional ventilation is required nor does it need it’s own air conditioning. From the fi ne perforations in the front door, the air can flow through the rack exiting via the perforated rear doors.
The hole profi les on each side of the rack are perfectly coordinated with all MAXDATA platinum servers, APC UPS’s, Overland tape libraries, MAXDATA external disk arrays and MAXDATA MAXVIEW. This results in the customer saving time and effort when installing components. At the same time the distances of the hole raster profi le to the front and back doors is designed so that there is suffi cient space for the MAXDATA 1 U MAXVIEW monitor-keyboard drawer and all related cabling.
