Technical Capability

Custom Software Development and Software Services: We specialize in the Microsoft

technologies, including the newest versions of C#, .NET, SQL, LINQ, WPF, WCF, Silverlight,

SharePoint, Azure, Windows Phone 7 mobile development, and even functional programming).

Sustained Engineering: Industry standard information shows that long-term operational

efficiency drives nearly 87% of the total cost of ownership of a product. A planned application

support model (ASM) improves the stability and reliability of the entire product system. Our

sustained engineering practice uses Key Performance Metrics (KPMs) on the three R’s (Release,

Reliability and Regression), in order to drive the cost of ownership down and business value up.

SharePoint Services: We specialize in taking SharePoint beyond its usual uses as a

collaboration/document management tool, by creating custom workflows and dashboards based

on key performance indicators that provide a quick snapshot of the most relevant information, to

empower accurate information exchange and data-based business decision making. We can also

leverage SharePoint to consolidate line-of-business applications, saving resources for our clients.

 Technical Documentation and Training: We have a strong team that supplies technical

documentation (both to end-user and IT Pro audiences), and currently supply training strategy

and e-learning services to several organizations worldwide. Our training projects vary from

creating an entire strategic corporate training roadmap to designing a specific web-based

eLearning module with audio and video. We set ourselves apart in training development by

striving for efficiency, performing thorough organizational assessments, tailoring content to

learners, and consistently mapping training development to the needs of the business.

Scope of Contract Idea Entity was selected by Microsoft to develop a product called RAPID (which stands for ‘Risk Assessment Process and Infrastructure

Development’). This product was part of the Managed Core IO Solutions in the Microsoft Services team and targeted Microsoft Premier

Customers. For this effort, we first developed a comprehensive assessment process to understand customer usage and scenarios of specific Microsoft products. The Idea Entity Team worked collaboratively with multiple stakeholders within Microsoft, built a set of diagnostic tools to automate data gathering, and did analysis to identify deviations from recommended product baseline configuration. Finally, the Idea Entity team built a set of report generation tools to create sophisticated end-user reports. Years later, we are still supporting the success of this product.
