SC Plugin Setup Guide

the following:

[Important] Read the Usage Guide tab to learn how to use this Game Plugin. Please perform the following:

1) Change Game Settings - Launch STAR CITIZEN©, then open the OPTIONS MENU, then click the GAME SETTINGS tab, and then verify:

• Crouch Toggle: NO • Prone Toggle: NO

• Flight-Coupled Mode Toggle: YES • Flight G-safe Defaults On: YES

• Flight G-safe disabled when Boosting: YES • Flight Speed Limiter Defaults On: YES • Flight Couple Mode Default On: YES Pilot Look Ahead: NO

• Turret Look Ahead: NO

• Vehicle Weapons Gimbal Mode Auto: YES • Vehicle Targeting Locked Show Heading: YES • Vehicle Targeting Locked Show Distance: YES • Vehicle Targeting Locked Show Name: YES

• Vehicle Targeting Pinning Overflow Behavior: Disable

2) Load Emily SC Controls File - Click the KEYBINDINGS tab, then click ADVANCED CONTROLS CUSTOMIZATION, then click CONTROL PROFILES, and select “Emily SC Controls 3.13.3.0”. Load both Keyboard and Mouse.

[Critical Note] The SC Plugin utilizes a key bindings file, which is stored in the location selected during installation. This file must be reloaded after the User Folder has been deleted. If the file was deleted, see Special Note.

[Critical Note] The SC Plugin utilizes the default keyboard/mouse bindings, with the exception of a few bindings. Key bindings may appear to be blank, but indeed have the correct bindings. There is no need to rebind these functions. Rebinding over Keyboard/Mouse bindings will render one or more commands useless.

[Critical HOTAS Note] Load the Emily SC Controls file for keyboard and mouse separately from any Joystick profile. [Special Note] Can’t find the Emily SC Controls file? Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Emily - The Ultimate Voice

Verify Mode Emily will state which of the three (3) Modes is

currently active. • Audible Cue: FPS Mode/Vehicle Mode is Active

Command Seat The character either sits down in the Seat and the SC Vehicle command set is loaded.

• Look at the seat, and then speak the command. • The Character must be close to the seat or ladder. • If entering a ship with a canopy that opens, you

must look at the ladder access hatch for the respective seat (Super-Hornet co-pilot must manually enter).

• Do not use when sitting in troop seats. Instead, say “SIT DOWN” to remain in First Person Mode. • Audible Cue: Protocols Transferred to Vehicle

Activate Vehicle Mode Activates the SC Vehicle command set, which controls all Wheeled Vehicles, Ships, and Hover Bikes.

• Speak this command in case you forget to say "COMMAND SEAT" when sitting down into a Vehicle seat (includes Turrets).

• Audible Cue: Vehicle Mode is Active

mobiGlas Display

Display mobiGlas Launches the mobiGlas to the Personal Information screen.

Critical Note: say “CLOSE MOBIGLAS” to switch back to Vehicle/FPS Modes. Exiting the mobiGlas manually after speaking this command will not reload the respective Command Set.

• EXAMPLE: With the mobiGlas closed, say “DISPLAY CONTRACT MANAGER”, then when finished, say “CLOSE MOBIGLAS”.

• Do not move Mouse/Joystick until desired screen appears.

• Do not speak this command with the mobiGlas open.

• Both Monitor and in-game resolution shall be identical. Fullscreen or Fullscreen Windowed is required. Does not work correctly in Windowed Mode.

• May not work with game spread across multiple monitors or Ultra-wide Monitors

• mobiGlas Commands are not available while interacting with the Wheel.

Display Friends Launches the mobiGlas to the Friends List on the

Reset Command Lock Clears the Emily Command Lock Feature. • Sometimes, Emily will become locked to a ON or OFF type command. • Audible Cue: Confirmed

Change Channels Changes the Comm-link channel when the text box is active.

• More than one channel must exist, which you must create in the Comms-Link interface within

mobiGlas.

• Audible Cue: A distinguishable tone. Dismiss Dismisses the displayed request.

Accept Accepts the displayed request. Display/Close Chat Displays or closes the Chat box.

Toggle Global Chat Launches the mobiGlas to the Comm Link screen, and toggles the Global Chat ON or OFF.

• Used to prevent chat from appearing after transitioning from ship to FPS.

Camera

^ Does not work with Hover Bikes.

** Does not work with Wheeled Vehicles.

Save Camera 1-9 Saves the respective camera position.

• Camera Positions are specific to the Active SC Plugin Mode (i.e. FPS or Vehicle)

• FPS Mode: SAVE CAMERA 1-9

• Vehicle Mode: SAVE CAMERA 1-6, SAVE DOCKING CAMERA 1-3 (see Landing\Flight Commands)

• Audible Cue: Saved (this takes a few seconds)

Delete This Camera Deletes the active Camera Position.

• First, say the respective Camera Position Command (e.g. CAMERA 3), then speak this command to delete the saved Camera Position.

• Audible Cue: Confirmed Camera View In/Out Adjusts the Field of View of the camera while Third

Person is active.

Check Target Info

Opens the Radar Interface, scans the selected Target to obtain detailed information, and then closes the Radar Interface.

• Discrete attention is required as the target information is presented briefly.

• Do not move Mouse/Joystick until focus is returned to ship control.

Scan for Targets Cycles through the four (4) closest Hostile targets. • Used to quickly increase situation awareness of the battlespace. • Audible Cue: Scanning for Targets

Scan for Friendlies Cycles through the four (4) closest Friendly targets. • Helps gain better situation awareness of the battlespace. • Audible Cue: Scanning for Friendlies

(i.e. READY).

Toggle Weapons Applies or removes power to all Weapons. Toggle Shields Applies or removes power to all Shields. Combat Mode Adjusts power distribution to favor shields and

weapons, achieving an optimal combat configuration.

Stinger Mode

Adjusts power distribution to favor engines and weapons, and adjusts shield power distribution forward, achieving an optimal strafing configuration.

• Used for strafing style attacks.

Escape Mode

Adjusts power distribution to favor engines and shields, and adjusts shield power distribution aft, achieving an optimal escape configuration.

Changes the view to one of three different Saved Camera Positions to assist with docking/landing (i.e. Saved Cameras 7-9).

• Pilots must position the camera to their desired position for each Docking Camera and then save the camera position by speaking the Save Docking Camera command.

• Example: say “DOCKING CAMERA 1”

• Say “FIRST PERSON” to return to the cockpit. • Note: speaking the command “THIRD PERSON”

while in Third Person will return the view to cockpit.

Save Docking Camera 1-3 Saves the Docking Camera Position (i.e. Saved Cameras 7-9).

• Example: say “SAVE DOCKING CAMERA 1”. • To delete a Saved Docking Camera, used the

command “DELETE THIS CAMERA”.

• Audible Cue: Saved (this takes a few seconds) Adjust Thrusters Allows free adjustment of the Thruster Power with the

mouse wheel.

Opens the mobiGlas, selects the Comms Link Interface, initiates a call to ATC, and then closes the mobiGlas, returning focus to ship control.

• Prior to speaking this command, position your ship close to the intended landing area. Other ships visible at the station/hanger is an indication of appropriate range. Ships directly in front may be hailed.

• Do not move Mouse/Joystick until focus is returned to ship control.

• Audible Cue: Requesting, Standby

Auto Pilot Engages the Automated Landing System for fifteen (15) seconds.

• The Pilot should speak the command just prior to entering or while within the Green Highlighted Landing Zone.

• Repeat this Command if you miss the 15 second window.

Free Look Removes focus from vehicle control and allows free movement of the characters head.

ejecting.

Engage Docking Computer Targets Mothership, toggles Landing Gear, and automatically docks.

• Snub-nose Fighter must be within 50 meters of ship for Auto-docking to work.

• If not docking with Mothership, must request docking first before speaking this command.

First Person Mode

Holster Weapon Holsters the equipped weapon.

Change Fire Mode Changes the firing mode of the equipped weapon. Reset Zeroing Sets Zeroing distance to 0.

Zero to Distance Zero’s the scope to the current Distance Finder value. • Only works on scopes with zeroing capability Toggle Attachment Toggles the power to Under Weapon Attachments.

Reload Weapon If ammo is available, reloads the equipped weapon. Customize Weapon Brings the weapon closer to allow attachment

changeouts.

Cancel Self Destruct If in command of a ship, cancels the ships self-destruct sequence.

• Added to FPS MODE to support a situation where after starting the self-destruct sequence you leave your seat (i.e. EXIT SEAT) to engage hostiles in FPS Mode and then return to your seat (i.e. VEHICLE MODE or manual control) prior to the sequence expiring.

• CAUTION: The command must be spoken three (3)

seconds prior to destruction.

• The key binding is “BACKSPACE”, if this action must be performed manually.
