Greatest Architecture

(2)

Dalton Laroux

I chose the Eiffel Tower because when you look at its design and the sheer size of it, you realize that it was an engineering marvel at the time. This was at a time when buildings first started being made of metal and an architect’s/engineer’s job became a chance to make something great.

(3)

Dalton Laroux

I chose the cathedral because being to Europe we saw more churches and cathedrals than I ever thought could exist. And they ALL. LOOK.

EXACTLY. THE. SAME. There was no creativity or innovation. Of course they were all architectural feats and looked stunning but they were like clones.

(4)

Malorie Meshell

This is absolutely my favorite

architecture, The Eiffel Tower gives me a sense of happiness, freedom, and the power of love.

(5)

Malorie Meshell

This piece of art is my least favorite because it is too plain. It doesn’t

arouse me. I do find the piece very artistic but not all that exciting.

(6)

Jordan Crittenden

I chose Angkor Wat as my favorite of the architectural pieces because of its size, detail, and the way that it blends with the natural scenery around it.

(7)

Jordan Crittenden

I chose the Empire State Building as my least favorite of the architectural works because while the height impresses me, the geometrical design bores me. I feel like the building lacks the finer details of beauty.

(8)

The Eiffel Tower

Savannah Garcie

This is by far my

favorite architecture.

The beauty of it is

absolutely

breathtaking. The

detail makes it very

(9)

Monticello

Savannah Garcie

This architecture

would have to be

my least favorite.

There is really

nothing unique

about it. To me it

looks like a typical

style of house.

(10)

Rosa S

epulvado

This is my favorite picture. It a picture of Angkor Wat near Siem Riep (near the Thai

border), Cambodia.

This is my favorite because I like how they crafted these big rocks to have a faces in them. It probably took months for them to do that. It shows even

then they did things that are considered art.

(11)

Rosa Sepulvado

This is my least favorite. This is Thomas Jefferson house, he design in Charlottesville, VA.

This is my least favorite architecture, because it don’t really look like something of great art. It not really

something special and great like the Statue of Liberty. Something that shows true meaning in history.

(12)

The Louvre” Cymone Castillo

I

I chose the Louvre as my favorite piece of architecture because I think it’s absolutely wonderful & I don't think it receives enough credit because it’s too

The pyramid is stunning and the buildings glare on the

water is incredible.

The Statue of Liberty Cymone C

.

Least Favorite

I chose the Statue of Liberty as my least favorite because

I feel like it once stood for something great & represented

our country but a lot has changed and the meaning behind this piece of architecture is gone.

{ Least }

This is my least favorite architecture because it does not

catch my attention. The window is an old style and the designs

look common.

(16)

Elizabeth Schoubroek Favorite

the

Cathedral of Chartres

is my favorite

architectural building . I like this because of all

the different shapes and sizes. both steeples are

two different sizes and shaped differently. there

are circled windows and there are arched

windows and there are normally shaped ones. I

love how different this cathedrAL IS. aLTHOUGH IF

I WERE TO GO TO A CHURCH I WOULD PREFER

(17)

Elizabeth Schoubroek Least Favorite

The Empire State Building

This is my least favorite because it’s boring. There is not

much to this building at all. The only special thing about

it, is that it’s new york’s second tallest building. There

are no unique structures or color or anything

significant.i have no interest “what so ever” in going to

see or explore this building for myself.

Love the green grass in this picture. Shows that they really take care of their yard.

This picture just consist of a building

covered with windows, just not a building person.

(21)

This is my

favorite piece

of

architecture.

This is the

Roman

Coliseum or

the Flavian

Amphitheatre.

James Robel

James Robel

This is my

least favorite

piece of

architecture.

This is

Thomas

Jefferson’s

house.

(23)

Petra, Jordan Konner Parrie

This piece of architecture is my favorite because I have seen many pictures of it and have always wanted to visit it. I am amazed by the skill it must’ve taken to create such a piece of art.

(24)

Wainwright Building Konner Parrie

This piece of architecture is my least favorite because I think it looks like an

ordinary building aside from the designs on the outside. I don’t think the designs are unique because lots of different buildings, such as churches, have similar designs.

(25)

The Eiffel Tower

This is my favorite because it seems so surreal. The picture itself is very compelling.

The Eiffel Tower is a beautiful piece of architecture and captures your attention from miles away. You can see how much hard work and effort that went into the

creation of this work of art.

(26)

The Great Wall

Least Favorite

This is my least favorite

because there’s really no

excitement to this architecture.

It just doesn’t really interest

me. To me all I see is a wall that

seems as if it’s never ending.

it’s the most romantic.
