2021 Convention

Registration Packet

June 15-17, 2021

JW Marriott Marco Island

Beach Resort

(2)

2021 Florida Cattlemen’s

Convention & Allied Trade Show

Potential Impacts due to

Marriott’s COVID-19

Guidelines

While FCA Staff and the volunteer leaders of FCA, FCF,

FCW & JFCA look forward to seeing you all at Marco Island for

the annual convention there are a few things we would like to

bring to your attention. As has been the case for over a year,

guidelines and procedures for gatherings continue to be

everchanging due to COVID-19. At the time this packet was

printed Marriott’s corporate leadership require that guests wear a

mask and practice social distancing when in the resort’s common

areas (hallways, lobbies, foyers etc). They also will only allow

us to seat 6 at a table for our 3 large plated meals, instead of the

normal 10 per table. This will potentially limit the amount of

meal tickets we will have available for the Youth Appreciation

Luncheon, Cattlemen’s Supper, and Cattlemen’s Banquet. Since

these tickets will likely sell out in this “first come, first serve”

scenario, we recommend that you get your registrations in

quickly, and that you purchase full registration packets if you

would like to attend these meal functions. We have been given

the greenlight to sell all 170 Tradeshow booth spaces, however

Tradeshow Attendance might be limited to a set number of

people at one time. As mentioned above these are the guidelines

set forth by Marriott Corporate at the time of this packet’s

printing. There is certainly the potential for these restrictions to

change by the week of Convention in June. We may be able to

expand to 10 people per table, and have unlimited access to the

tradeshow during tradeshow hours, however we can only present

the information we have currently. The resort has certainly been

more than willing to take all of your room reservations, and the
