PINCHAS ZUKERMAN PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
Regular videoconference lessons are provided for MSM students enrolled in the Zukerman Performance Program. Each student is given access to our online digital library to review their recorded lessons and continue the learning process.

ROBERT MANN STRING QUARTET INSTITUTE
The legendary violinist and longtime Manhattan School of Music faculty member coaches young, up-and-coming string quartets in a series of public master classes from the William R. and Irene D. Miller Recital Hall, that will also be simultaneously broadcast live.

THOMAS HAMPSON VOCAL MASTER CLASS & WEBCAST
The renowned American baritone and Manhattan School of Music Distinguished Visiting Artist returns for his annual visit to coach audition-selected voice students on masterpieces from vocal literature.
This event will be presented before a live audience in the Gordon K. & Harriet Greenfield Hall and simultaneously streamed on the internet. The class will also be available through Thomas Hampson’s InstantEncore iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch (iOS) app, available free in the Apple App Store by searching “Thomas Hampson”, as well as the Thomas Hampson Android app, now available in the Android Market, also under “Thomas Hampson”.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONCERT & WEBCAST
Members of Manhattan School of Music’s international student population comes together to perform in a unique concert showcasing their many talents, as well as pieces by composers from their home countries. Presented for the eighth time in collaboration by the International Student Organization and the Distance Learning Program, the concert will be attended by a live audience at the same time that it streams live on the Internet. The event will also be available on mobile devices such as
iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch (iOS), as well as Android and Blackberry smartphones.

Daniel Andai, Concertmaster of The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO), and William Hestand, newly
elected bassoonist for The Cleveland Orchestra, connect virtually to MSM from the New World
Symphony in Miami, Florida, and The Cleveland Institute of Music in Cleveland, Ohio, respectively. As graduates of Manhattan School of Music’s Orchestral Performance Program, they speak to current MSM students about their time at MSM, their professional careers-to-date, and varied orchestral experiences.
