I don’t believe I have a great talent in continuous improvement, instead, it justcomes naturally to me to identify potential improvements in my work processes. I receive input from my team on potential improvements and then we implement and test them. The best ones are retained and we restart the process. Overall, I think continuous improvement is a good area of focus for continued investment.

I am good at identifying and eliminating suboptimal processes in our workenvironment. I understand how to document a process, identify inefficiencies, and improve it. This is an area which I will continue to improve in this next year.

Part of continuous improvement is identifying process improvement ideas, anotheris identifying problems and breaking them down to their root cause. I am not very good at the former, but very good at the latter. I can see a problem, identify the symptoms and what is actually the root problem. I then identify a solution and implement it. I will work to improve in process improvement as well.

I have attended kaizen training and implemented much of it in my day to day work.There are a number of parts of kaizen that I initially struggled with in my job, but since then have improved and see it working well. I have made a number of incremental improvements to how I work and will continue to do so this year.
