By enrolling in one of our partner degree programs, which are delivered on campus at Sydney TAFE, you will be given the chance to complete not only a bachelor degree, but in many cases, a TAFE NSW diploma or advanced diploma at the same time. Sydney TAFE also offers a range of transitional short courses to help improve your pathway to degree study. These programs provide academic writing skills, developing bibliographies and citations, applying critical thinking and advanced mathematics for degree level study.

Maths for Higher Education

– delivered in partnership with the University of New South Wales, this course covers the contents from the HSC 2 unit Mathematics course, and will help if you are keen to improve your knowledge in maths or you are having difficulty with maths in the first year of your chosen university course.

Statistics for Higher Education

– is suitable if you wish to improve your knowledge in statistics or you are having difficulty with statistics in the first year of your university or TAFE degree course.

Academic Transition Skills

– will help you build up your skills and capabilities in researching, academic writing, report writing and presentations; essential academic skills for your journey along the higher education pathway. You can register your interest online for any of these programs at sydneytafe.edu.au

The Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC) offered by Sydney TAFE is the fastest way to attain the required scores to enter degree-level study and enhance your career opportunities at the same time.

We’ll equip you with the academic skills required to participate in higher education.

Upon successful completion, you’ll have the same skills and knowledge as someone who has finished their Year 12/HSC and you’ll receive a Tertiary Entrance Score (TES) which you can use to apply to study for a degree.
