CLOUD COMPUTING

Private Desktop Cloud –

Ready to use

Standardized. Automated. Flexible. Agile.

(2)

Mobility, global competition and new business opportunities; the reality of cloud computing has arrived. Many companies al-ready rely on services through the internet. Those companies are now taking advantage of additional opportunities to expand their business model and develop new value-added propositions. Working on the internet, consumption of cloud services and staying mobile shape the most important trends in the IT industry. Information and data must be available anytime and anywhere. Breaking our professional and personal boundaries and changing how and when we communicate.

The ability to work independent of time and place - internally or externally - this is a top priority, which is influenced by a fast paced business world. Helping to increase the agility and pro-ductivity of a company; mobility and cloud computing will be progressively central to factors for success. Leveraging cloud computing through mobile devices, platforms, networks and business applications, will create better business opportunities and potential. Companies that provide a flexible workplace can empower employees and make work tasks seamless. Which in turn, can be accomplished in the right place, by the right people at the right time.

Regardless of location or device, access to desktops and ap-plications is uninterrupted; significantly improving continuous business operations. Smaller devices with their own intelligence can leverage the power of cloud computing too.

“Cloud Ready” Data Center

The increasing demand for cloud services often requires a change in IT organizations and a realignment of many data cen-ters. Interminable IT provisioning processes, caused by static and inflexible IT architectures, creates a mid-term competitive disadvantage. This is no longer acceptable in the era of cloud computing.

For this reason, cloud computing is essential for the transforma-tion of data centers. A key technology such as virtualizatransforma-tion, “is a catalyst for modernization and allows the transition to cloud computing,” says market research firm Gartner.

The central availability of services such as access to business applications or the delivery of a complete mobile workspace

from the data center; on the one hand, offers tremendous effi-ciencies in flexible administration. Which, on the other hand, re-quires a higher degree of automation, availability and above all, proven and complete security in the data center. The structure of a “Cloud Ready” data center is no longer of made of indi-vidual components but as cloud ready system that is a proven overall architecture. Managing not only network, security, server and storage products, but also software tools to configure and provision a set of complete services.
