PAOLO MANZO
D.D.S., PH. D., MSc ORTHOD
PERSONAL PROFILE
Dr. Manzo graduated cum laude in Dentistry (DDS) in 1997 with a thesis on occlusion and posture correlations. Since his graduation he has followed a training program focused on both traditional and lingual orthodontics. He completed his post-graduate studies in Orthodontics (MSc) with honors and he received a PhD in Oral Science at University of Naples “Federico II”. He is Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Naples “Federico II”. He is the President of the Leading Alliance Orthodontic Society founded in 2014 during SIDO Congress. Dr Manzo received the excellence certification by the Italian Board of Orthodontics (IBO), by the European Board of Orthodontics (EBO) and by the European Board of Lingual Orthodontics (EBLO).
Dr. Manzo has lectured at courses, universities and congresses throughout the world on the following topics: lingual orthodontics, straight wire and self-ligating technique, torque management with variable prescriptions, finishing, biomechanics, Class II malocclusions, interdisciplinary and complex treatments of dental anomalies and
TAD management.
Dr. Manzo has trained Italian and international doctors with practical, in-office courses that manages with his coworkers on lingual techniques with Harmony system and on the straight wire technique. He has presented several award winning scientific and clinical papers at national and international conferences and clinical practice is limited exclusively to the orthodontics and craniomandibular disorder management. Dr Manzo is a Board member of the European Federation of Orthodontics (FEO) and of the Italian Dental Association (ANDI).
