This course provides detailed information on the functionality of the Vocera System– Vocera Server, Vocera Client Gateway (VCG), and the Vocera SIP Telephony Gateway (VSTG) – and their operating requirements, including server hardware, operating system, IP PBX, and wireless and wired IP infrastructure. Learn to configure Active Directory integration with the Vocera Admin console allowing for easier management of user credentials. Gain knowledge of wireless and wired network infrastructure planning and configuration, and SIP telephony integration with best practices andtroubleshooting:
Learn how to install and troubleshoot Vocera Server software, install service packs, and to update a license key during a server upgrade
Learn to implement badge profiles, perform initial Badge configuration, use the configuration menus, run a hardware test, and troubleshoot commonconfiguration errors

Vocera recommends every full-time Vocera System Administrator have a Backup and/or Tiered Administrator who can fill in, as needed to manage daily database tasks. The Vocera Admin Console is designed to delegate limited visibility to personnel who support the full-time Administrator. This course covers the skills and tools necessary for a Backup and/or Tiered Administrator to support the Vocera System Administrator in managing their Vocera system.
