Authenticity and originality of images is big concern all the ti me. Original images are edi te d, modifie d and are re publish which may generate chaotic situation in many ways. This paper focuses on verifying authe ntic and original image by using recursive char acteristics points matching the n fr om which intereste d part fr om image is extracte d c ontai ning base point. These base points are matche d against the same i mage which is di vi de d into bl ocks using single invari ant Fourier tr ansfor m. final output shows the highlighte d duplic ate area.
