As a theatre production and concert venue, Hamer Hall requires a state of the art cabling solution which provides high speed networking for all data and communications, audio visual, broadcast, and automation technology on the one network.

Madison Technologies provided an end to end fibre and Ethernet cabling

and connectivity package designed specifically to provide Hamer Hall with a comprehensive, and integrated cabling system that offered flexibility, interoperability and ease of maintenance over the long term.

This project was the first of its kind in Australia to use the R&M ISO Cat6A jack which enables the use of applications above 10 Gigabit Ethernet, resulting in a longer life for the cabling infrastructure.

Diamantina

Power Station, QLD

The Diamantina Power Station Project (DPS) is a $570 million investment in Mount Isa by APA Group and AGL Energy Limited to secure the power supply needs of North West Queensland now and into the future. Madison Technologies supplied instrumentation cables for the various monitoring and metering equipment

associated with the effective running of a power station. Due to our position as a producer and distributor of Garland Cables, Madison was able to meet a very tight timline for supply. Now complete, DPS’s 302 MW of power generation facilities site will provide the region with reliable, on demand natural gas-fired electricity. DPS will provide 242 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power generation and the adjacent Leichhardt Power Station will deliver 60 MW of Open Cycle Gas Turbine power generation.

Darwin Correctional Facility, NT

Recently Madison Technologies provided 200km of security cable to the Darwin Correctional facilities project.

The security cable on site operates to connect devices such as card readers, sliding doors, video cameras and mobile duress receivers.

Madison provided technical advice on the cable applications and ensured the supply of stock was to schedule so the deadlines could be met.

Tunnel, QLD

The 6.8 kilometre Clem Jones Tunnel (CLEM7) includes a range of safety features and systems designed to provide the safest driving environment possible.

The individually controlled electronic signage, cameras, traffic signals and messaging are operated by up to 40

technicians from the intelligence heart of this major infrastructure facility - the Tollway Control Centre. Madison Technologies helped implement a state of the art cabling system, enabling continuity of traffic signalling communication and other electronic messaging without interruption along the Optical Fibre cable network 23 times the length of the tunnel.
