WORK EXPERIENCE DIRECTORY

This directory lists all the departments and job roles the Trust is currently able to offer work experience placements with. It is updated in preparation for the start of each academic year.

All departments outlined in this document have been checked by Shropshire Education Business Partnership and are risk assessed to ensure they comply with Health & Safety recommendations for the placement of ‘young people’.

We are not able to offer placements in areas that have not been through this process.

We are unable to accommodate requests for placements in: The Accident and Emergency Department.

The Pathology Department. NOTE:

The maximum number of applications considered per individual in any academic year is 3; this applies to all Departments on both Hospital sites.

To apply for a Work Experience Placement:

Decide using this directory which Department or Job role you wish to have your placement opportunity with. Complete an application form – see Trust website: www.sath.nhs.uk

You must send your fully completed application form to the Contact person named in this directory; ensure it is addressed to the relevant department at the relevant Hospital site in which you are requesting a placement.
